        "content": "We found Agawam just a couple months before our wedding date, because our original venue cancelled on us. They were happy to help us out in a difficult time and accommodate our sped-up schedule for site visits and tastings. The space is just beautiful, with a relaxed and homey vibe even though it also feels classy and looks gorgeous in photos. Communication was not always the best, as our point-person left part-way through the process and the team wasn't great at responding to email, but in the end everything worked out really well. The staff was professional and extremely helpful, and the scale of the space just adds for all these extra perks: photo shoot in the golf course, big lawn for the ceremony, fire pits with marshmallows at night, two large indoor spaces for dinner and dancing, gorgeous bridal suite upstairs and multiple bathrooms. The food was incredible, from the raw bar and passed apps to the main courses and wine pairings. The on-site coordinator helped with ceremony timing and even brought me gatorade when I was feeling dehydrated. Overall, just a fabulous experience and a beautiful space for a wedding.",

It is an absolutely stunning venue and the staff is great! Although we had a last minute change in our wedding coordinator, Dorinda and Cara really stepped up and made sure that everything would be exactly the way we wanted it!         "content": "Since booking Agawam over a year ago they have been great to work with. From the start, they knew we were on a budget and helped us to stay within our means, but still have an amazing wedding. We were their first Same-Sex Wedding and they were very excited to make sure we had a great experience. \n\nWe also had an added difficulty of planning a wedding from across the country. (We live in Washington State, and we choice to have the wedding in RI since it's easier for family). They made this process as easy as possible for us. \n\nCommunication was great, though it was sometimes difficult to get a hold of them, but it was when they were busy with other weddings, so it was to be expected.\n\nThe venue is an absolutely beautiful country club with 19th-century charm. It really made our wedding picturesque. The staff is very attentive and the facilities are not only convenient but are beautiful in and of themselves.\n\nThe only major problem was that for a time, they kept going through wedding coordinators. This is something I considered knocking a star of the review for, but once we got Jennifer as the wedding planner she more than made up for it. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.  She really took on the tasks at hand and did everything she could to make our special day amazing. \n\nOverall Agawam was a great choice for our wedding and my husband and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Definitely recommend, tell Jennifer Jayce and Ryan say hi! ",

The old character and charm of the building, the outdoor terrace, lawn games and firepit were exactly what we envisioned for our wedding.
