"content": "I cannot say enough about this establishment and the experience we had. We got the “everything but the dress” package and we wouldn’t change a thing!!! Soup to nuts, planning was fun, stress free, and Stacy gave me the vision I wanted and it was literally the best day! She makes the experience so personal ❤️ My Siberian Husky was even allowed to be in the wedding (she stole the show 🥰) 💕 Stacy, Drew, the entire staff were simply amazing! The day of, the groom and bride show up with their party’s and literally want, need or ask for nothing. CCB was already 2 steps ahead!! I would recommend this place to any couple looking to have a tasteful, classy and beautiful local wedding! Not to mention, we got married what was considered “off peak” so the prices were just unbeatable and worked well within our budget! So much included….look no further for the most beautiful venue with great food options (new menu), solid vendor options, and best of all, a bride stress free planning experience!!!!! ",

"content": "We had our perfect wedding. The Canoe Club runs like a well oiled machine. They have different wedding packages available and we went with the “Everything but the Dress” package. Since I had never planned a wedding before, it was feeling overwhelming, but the CCB has preferred vendors they partner with so instead of scouring the internet for DJs in our area, I got to choose from their preferred vendor list and interviewed a few before choosing the perfect one. They also have a florist, bakery, limo, tuxedo shop, and vendor for our seating board. We got a complimentary stay at a hotel the night of our wedding. The staff was kind, personable, professional and always willing to answer any question quickly. They had a tasting for the food, and scheduled a few meetings as the date got closer to make sure we knew how it would all happen the day of. They walked us through all the things we would be bringing ourselves, when to bring them, and how/when it would all be packed up. They had plenty of staff the day of, and I had my own bridal attendant (Drew) who was absolutely wonderful. My husband also had Stacy, who attended to him (and me when it was needed. My dress ripped twice). She was also absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the CCB. I certainly recommend having your wedding/reception there.",

"content": "My husband and I were married at the Canoe Club Ballroom on 11/09/25, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that working with this team was phenomenal from start to finish. From the time we toured the venue until the last moments of our reception they provided some of the best service we've ever experienced. The hundreds of five-star reviews are 100% deserved.\n\nIf I wrote about everything I loved about the CCB this review would quickly turn into a novel, so I'll try to keep it brief(ish) with a list of some highlights:\n\n1. This venue is gorgeous (and also affordable). They will work with your budget and have different packages to choose from. So many of our guests assumed we spent a fortune on the wedding, but honestly, as far as weddings go, the CCB is pretty reasonable.\n2. The vendors are included in the price of the venue (you choose from a list of their preferred vendors, which was honestly so great. All the vendors we worked with were amazing.).\n3. The food was excellent! CCB recently brought in a new chef, and he did not disappoint. All out guests were raving about the braised short ribs and the encrusted parmesan chicken. We had a couple of professional chefs as wedding guests, and they were both impressed; they understand how challenging preparing wedding meals can be.\n4. CCB understood the vision I had for the wedding-- from the centerpieces, to the welcome table, to the lighting, everything was exactly the way I'd pictured it. I thought I'd have to be the one to put out the decor if I wanted it to look the way I wanted it, but I put my trust in the staff and they delivered. It was beautiful.\n5. The entire staff works like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knows exactly what they're supposed to be doing. They keep to a schedule so there was never any lag time or any question about what was happening. The whole event was well-managed, and we never had to worry about anything.\n6. If I could go back in time (just like a month or two), I would tell past-Tara that there is no need to stress, because everything was going to be more beautiful than she even imagined and it would be the best day of her life.\n7. The lobby always smells fantastic. I don't know what candles they're burning in the foyer, but man, it always smells amazing.\n\ntl:dr - Book your wedding at the Canoe Club ballroom. You will not be disappointed.\n\nBig, big thanks to Stacy, Drew, Matt, and Ericka and the rest of the CCB staff for making our day so special. I'll be riding that high for the rest of my life, probably. Thank you, thank you, thank you!\n\nI'll post some pictures as soon as I get them back. ",

It was my first choice ever since I was in a wedding there 10 years ago and I can say the quality and the service have continued to be just as great! All the vendors we worked with through their packages were also amazing. They are extremely responsive and knowledgeable and we felt so cared for and taken care of by the staff and the coordinators. If I could do my wedding over again I’d do everything exactly as we did because it was actually perfect ! (My husband is an avid 2 star giver and he said he couldn’t think of a single thing he would change ! ) we loved the Canoe Club and would do it all again if given the chance ! ",

From the moment we started planning, Stacy, Matt, and Drew made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Every meeting with Stacy and her team put us more at ease — they truly cared about making our day special, and it showed in every detail. They even contacted all of our vendors for us regarding their meals and day of timeline.\nThe venue itself is stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The food was delicious (our guests are still talking about it!), and the tasting experience was such a fun and memorable part of the planning process. The drinks were fantastic, and the bartenders and wait staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. What really set The Canoe Club apart was the way they handled everything for us. They took our vision and ran with it — from the decorations to the timeline, they brought it all to life. We never had to leave the dance floor because their team took care of setup, transitions, and even packing everything up at the end of the night. Our guests continue to rave about how beautiful the venue was and how flawless the entire day felt. From our initial tour at the CCB to any questions, concerns, or any changes we needed… they made it happen! So quick to respond and knew exactly what we wanted for our special day. Not only were they amazing during the wedding planning process and during all of our final appointments, but wedding day itself went FLAWLESSLY and we could not be more thankful. CCB has to be one of the most organized teams we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Even during all of the stressful times and weeks leading up to our wedding when things tend become chaotic, I knew that everything was in the best hands and really felt stress free and were able to enjoy it all!! "content": "We had our wedding at Canoe Club Ballroom on March 14, 2025 and six weeks later we're still absolutely amazed at how great our wedding was. It was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had intended to have our ceremony outside, unfortunately due to the weather we had the ceremony indoors and it looked beautiful. Our guests were in awe of how great the room looked, how fantastic the food was, and how efficient that staff was during both the ceremony and reception. We could not recommend the Canoe Club Ballroom enough!!",

We did not have to worry about anything on the day because the staff was working with us from the day we booked our day until the day we said I do. Stacy and her staff took great care of us and our guests. We had planned for and outside wedding but with bad weather we chose to have it inside instead and the staff had the place looking beautiful for us. Our guests told us the staff was fast and efficient when moving from the ceremony to the reception while we were doing our pictures in the beautiful bridal room. We had such a great time at the Canoe Club and we would recommend it to anyone.",

I’m so happy we chose this venue not only for its beauty but also for its outstanding staff and great value. They offer various packages to suit different needs, and we went with the \"Everything but the Dress\" package—by far the best decision we made. The package covers so much, including some vendor services, which was a lifesaver for me. As someone who gets overwhelmed by too many choices, their curated list of preferred vendors made planning significantly easier. All the vendors were incredible, and because they frequently work with CCB, their communication was flawless.\n\nThe venue itself is stunning, both inside and out. On the day of my wedding, I was blown away by how beautifully they set up all my décor. I hadn’t given detailed instructions on where everything should go, but when I walked into the space, I was in awe—it was perfect. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident in every aspect.\n\nAlthough I had planned to get married outside, it rained that morning. I didn’t have to stress because the capable staff at CCB seamlessly adjusted everything for the indoor ceremony. They handled all the little details and behind-the-scenes work, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy my wedding day. Even small hiccups and clean-up were taken care of effortlessly by their team.\n\nAs an anxious bride, I can’t express how comforting it was to trust such experienced professionals. Thanks to them, my wedding day was absolutely perfect. Stacy and Drew were wonderful to work with and were always pleasant. The bridal attendant went above and beyond for us. One of my bridesmaids hair was not holding and she pulled out a curling iron and hair supplies. One of our vendors did not give us all the flowers we had ordered, and she went and found a fix so I could give my grandmother flowers. Stacy frequently checked in with us throughout the night and really kept our wedding stress free. We loved having our wedding at The Canoe Club Ballroom. I highly recommend having a wedding here! ",

We fell in love we the venue. We had everything but the dress package. I love how ever since coordinator communicated with us to bring our dream wedding to light. Stacy, Drew and Matt were so patient, respectful. On our package we had wonderful Vendors to make our day more special. We choose our appetizers and course menus . The food and drinks were so good. It did rain on 9/26/2024, the ceremony was perfect inside. We took so rain pictures and they look so dope .Our guest had fun. Please pick up your phone and call Canoe Club Ballroom, you won’t be disappointed. The wedding is stress free and don’t forget to ask questions. I find myself calling more than 5 time at week and I love every single moment I spend planning our special day with them. \n\nWords cannot express the love and happiness I had on this venue. I was looking for a place that would take care of every detail so I didn't have to worry and they did just that. Their everything but the dress package included all the necessary vendors as part of the package. I didn't have to spend precious time shopping around for vendors, they all reached out to me and I had options for each category so I could pick the one I liked best. \n\nThe Canoe Club staff treated us like family from the beginning. They welcomed us by name every time we saw them. They answered every question quickly whether in person, by text or email. Everything we asked for was documented and well executed. Even my guests commented on how well organized and coordinated the Canoe Club was.\n\nI enjoyed my special day because I was in good hands. I would recommend the Canoe Club for your wedding or any other event. ",

From the first appointment when we toured the grounds we knew this would be the space for us to get married. Stacey and her team were so incredibly helpful during the entire planning process and especially on wedding day. Every accommodation was met and the response for any questions was so fast. The space itself is so beautiful and can easily be customizable to what your vision is. For couples looking for venues on south shore MA- you will not find a better wedding package than what this place offers. I wish I could go back and relive the day over and over again!",

I was finishing up school and super busy while planning my wedding and they made this process easy and seamless. I was never stressed because they are so organized and so good at what they do. They work with top of the line vendors, they are thorough and make you feel at ease trusting them with such an important day! Drew is a rockstar bridal attendant who is a literal angel from above. We got married on June 2nd and the Canoe Club Ballroom was nothing short of amazing from the time we came in for our first visit to view the venue down to the final minutes of our wedding! I cannot say enough good things about the team there and how seamless they made the entire process. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious (I've been to a million weddings and haven't had food as good as theirs) and just overall we couldn't have asked for a better day. Major shout out to Stacy who is so attentive, responsive, patient and kind and the rest of the CCB team. If I could do it all over again I would pick CCB each time! Highly recommend!",

I, the bride, was even 20 min late and they change from outside to inside and it still went smooth thanks to Stacy and her crew! The day went by so fast, what an amazing time! They decorate so beautiful. Just everything was on point! I never had to worry prior, any time of day I had a question they answered. They can joke around. Down to earth people and professional. The property is beautiful inside and out, I received so many compliments from guests throughout the night. "content": "We had originally picked a different venue that ended up ghosting us months before our wedding and Stacy and the canoe club ended up swooping in and saving the day.\n\nThe venue was beautiful and so clean and everything was perfect on our special day. Leading up to it Stacy, Drew, Matt, Erika and so many others made sure we were stress free. \n\nI would strongly suggest to anyone looking for a venue to book with CCB you will not be let down! \n\nThe coordinators were amazing, food was amazing, the grounds for the ceremony were breath taking and the inside was just as gorgeous. Plenty of room for friends and family!\n\nWe cannot thank them enough for making our special day PERFECT!",

"content": "The Team at CCB couldn't be better! The planning process was so smooth, which was a huge selling point for us as new parents to an 8-week old at our first appointment. We chose the Everything But The Dress package for exactly that reason. Stacy and her team took care of all the details, so this busy mama wouldn't have to worry about a thing! \nOn our wedding day (4/5/24) our ceremony went off without a hitch! Even though the temperatures and mud forced us to have an indoor ceremony, it was beautifully arranged. We received many compliments from our guests. \nDuring cocktail hour/formal photos, our infant son had a total meltdown from being overstimulated and tired. We had to adapt on the fly to allow me to address my upset son. Matt was our wedding party attendant, and he could not have been more FANTASTIC! He smoothly adjusted our entrance plans and allowed our guests to enjoy their first course while I was nursing our baby. This way, our guests didn't have to sit idly (and hungrily) waiting for us. The amount of care and compassion allowed this frazzled-at-the-moment mama feel super supported. My bridal party ladies and my mom all kept saying how great Matt (and the whole team) was to accommodate our changing needs. Matt received many grateful hugs that night!\nOnce we entered our reception, the rest of the wedding was smooth and so much fun! Our guests loved the food and the entertainment. We received so many compliments that night, and continue to do so as we reminisce with our friends and family. \nWe could not recommend CCB more! Kudos to Stacy, Matt and the entire CCB Team!",

"content": "I really don't think I can say enough good things about the CCB! From my very first email to the big day, they answered any and all of my questions promptly and professionally. Stacy and her whole team made it such a seamless process. We went with the \"say everything but the dress\" option, and boy do they mean it. Their preferred vendors are top notch and CCB made it so easy to get in contact with them. They literally have weddings down to a science, they even had a timeline of our day made up for me before our last planning meeting. You do not need a wedding planner because they keep your right on track with frequent email reminders for tasks. Myself and my husband had our own attendants for the day AND two additional attendants for the guests. I have not heard one bad word about the wedding from a single one of our guests. Literally best night ever, perfect weather and EXCELLENT service!!",

"reviewText": "Stacy, Drew, and the entire Canoe Club staff were nothing but exceptional throughout the entire process of our wedding. It is a long, somewhat overwhelming process, and they did nothing but calm us down and make us feel so at ease with everything. The actual wedding day went about as smoothly as we could have ever imagined, and it was truly a magical day. All that time spent worrying about little things when we really didn't need to, all thanks to the awesome staff at the Canoe Club! I would recommend the Canoe Club to anybody and everybody! Thanks for everything, Stacy!\n\nP.S. They also allow pets for the ceremony, so we were so happy we could have our buddy Rocky be a part of our special day!"

"reviewText": "The Canoe Club Ballroom (CCB) will always hold a special place in my heart! Stacy and Drew were absolutely amazing! The service you will receive from the CCB and their staff is like no other. We chose the \"Everything But The Dress\" package and we did not regret it. Between the delicious food and drinks, to the amazing vendors, the stunning ballroom, and their excellent coordination process we were absolutely thrilled that our wedding was a huge success with CCB! Also, Stacy and her team were so accommodating and answered emails whenever I needed them. This allowed for such a smooth process and I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day! Stacy and Drew were our groom and bride attendants and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way! We love you CCB!\nLove, The Albanesas ~ June 14th, 2024"

Stacy puts her all into the business, renovations to constantly improve her beautiful and spacious wedding venue, serving, coordinating, and also cleaning.\n\nWe chose the “Everything But The Dress” package (DJ George Confoey, Visions Forever, Between The Roses, Artistic Wedding Films, Veronica’s Sweetcakes, Extreme Limo, Merian Brothers, Happy Frog Ink, Sonesta Select Foxborough, and Justice of the Peace: Dianne Spaulding) and highly recommend the Canoe Club Ballroom and the vendors we used!! Above and beyond service.\n\nThe food, starting with the Hors D'oeuvres: scallops wrapped in bacon, bruschetta and spring rolls; to soup and salad; to the main course: Garlic Pork Tenderloin AND Chicken Piccata, was cooked to perfection and tasted great! 5/5 because the rating can’t be higher! "reviewText": "My sister just got married here this past weekend. The staff were absolutely amazing- they attended to every detail, made sure everyone, not just the bridal party, were doing well, and prioritized the guest's experience. Matt was so great- he made sure we all were comfortable and had what we needed- any issues that arose he just solved quickly and without any stress. They truly understand what is needed to make the wedding day perfect for the bride and groom and everyone else as well. There was one moment I recall especially where I had to fix my sister's dress bustle- they got us the supplies and we just used a room nearby to sew it up real quick. There were staff in there making sure other things were in order and I told them not to worry, they could go about their duties. And I truly meant that. But Stacy very discretely and respectfully asked them to just step out while we attended to the dress issue- I heard her whisper something like, \"let them have some time on their own.\" And I realized that this was the first and only time I had been able to be with my sister alone the entire day. We talked for a minute while I sewed her up- nothing major, but it is one of the moments of the whole day that stands out to me now- a quiet, special moment for just me and my sister. Stacy knew what we needed even when we didn't. So thank you to everyone at the CCB- you are truly amazing!"
