"content": "To say Emily made our dreams come true is an understatement. From the moment we met, we were immediately impressed with her positive attitude, attention to detail, and organization. We fell in love with the venue initially, but now upon reflecting, it was the collective efforts of the staff of Galilee Beach Club that we will forever cherish and appreciate for the rest of our lives. \n\n Emily patiently listened and worked hard throughout the entire process, answering endless emails from me, while collaborating with Chris the manager, Chef Rob, and the rest of her event staff to make all of our ideas come to life. Emily’s planning meetings along the way were focused, thorough, and super informative. She made time (even during her hectic season) for us, always. We trusted her completely with our vision and she knocked it out of the park. \n\nFor me, I was in awe of her attention to the little things… the plate of hors douerves delivered to the bridal suite for us right after the ceremony, the signature drinks in our toasting flutes during dinner, the floating candles she suggested for the sweet heart table, right down to Emily locating our missing marriage license! She did it all with grace and ease. On top of the beautiful set up, Emily and her team packed up everything (and I mean everything!) into my car that night which truly was an unbelievable service.\n\nChris, the General Manager, was our officiant and he was incredible. We had only met Chris a handful of times before we got married, but we felt as if he was one of our good friends. He knew exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. And the food! Everything was out of this world. Multiple guests claimed the short rib was the best they ever had. Chef Rob’s seared tuna steaks were prepared to perfection, even impressing a room full of tuna fishermen, which is certainly not an easy feat! \n\nThe Galilee Beach Club was a warm, welcoming, highly professional, full service, simply spectacular place to get married. Our wedding surpassed our wildest dreams, which was undoubtedly the result of the hard work and long hours put in by Emily, Chris, Rob and the rest of the event staff at GBC. As two native Rhode Islanders and Galilee locals, we could not have had a more perfect setting for one of the most memorable days of our lives. We are forever grateful to have worked with such a remarkable team. \n",

Honestly, we didn’t even know we wanted a beach club wedding when we started planning—we just knew we wanted Narragansett beach vibes. As soon as we saw this venue, we knew it was the perfect fit.\n\n\n\n\nThe food was incredible. From the very start, the tasting event gave us such a fun preview, and it only got better on the actual wedding weekend. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! We also decided to book our florals through the venue, and that was such a smart choice—the arrangements were stunning and perfectly matched the vibe we wanted, all without the stress of juggling another vendor.\n\n\n\n\nA huge shoutout goes to Emily, who was with us every step of the way. She answered countless questions, kept in touch with multiple email check-ins, and made sure every detail was thought of. On the wedding day itself, she was a total rockstar—calm, attentive, and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Even when a light drizzle came through, she and the team handled it effortlessly and kept the energy high.\n\n\n\n\nThe rest of the staff was equally amazing. Everyone was so professional, kind, and genuinely fun to be around—it made the whole weekend feel so comfortable and celebratory.\n\n\n\n\nAnd of course, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We had about 100 guests, and having our ceremony right on the beach was the perfect mix of relaxed and romantic. The setting made for such a special backdrop, and it felt like the true Narragansett beach wedding we always envisioned (even before we realized we wanted a beach club!).\n\n\n\n\nWe are beyond grateful we chose the Galilee Beach Club. From planning to the final sendoff, the entire experience was flawless. If you’re dreaming of a wedding with amazing food, incredible staff, and the most gorgeous beach setting, this is the place.",

We immediately knew this was the place that we were going to get married due to the amazing location and view, cozy interior and most importantly because of Emily. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the very first time we stepped into the venue. From there she took care of all our needs and desires, including some very good recommendations! Furthermore the food is absolutely delicious and all made on site, adding another special touch to our special night. There were absolutely no issues on the day of our wedding and things went incredibly smooth. We have heard from multiple guests that this was the best wedding that they have ever been to! At the end of the night Emily and her team picked up any decorations, gifts and cards and packed them into our car so that we could pick it up the next day and not have to worry about a thing. "content": "We had our wedding on 5/26 at the Galilee Beach Club, we booked over a year in advance and throughout that time Emily was extremely helpful, organized and communicated and supported us through the entire process. We aren’t ones for a traditional wedding, and any idea we had, Emily was extremely open and accommodating and helped put our ideas into reality. The week leading up to our wedding was stress free, and we had full trust in Emily to make sure things went well. On the day of the wedding, things went smoothly and even when my fiance (now wife) did not like her flower bouquet (not from GBC, from another vendor) Emily went out of her way to fix it in a way that was perfect for my wife! We are so eternally grateful for Emily’s and everyone at the GBC’s kindness, support, expertise and positive energy throughout our planning process and wedding day. They even packed up everything for us at the end of the night! We immediately knew that GBC was going to be the perfect place for our Best Day Ever, because of the immediate comfort we felt when we first met with Emily! "content": "GBC review \n\nIf you want a beach wedding and to work with the most incredible venue look no further. The second we walked into Galilee Beach Club we knew it place was “the one”. The venue is stunning inside and out. We got married on the beach overlooking the water. Cocktail hour was outside and they setup the cutest tiki bar. Emily, the Clubs coordinator was absolutely amazing. Some venues have coordinators where they just look out for the venue itself, Emily made sure my husband and I were taken care of every step of the way. She was incredibly communicative through out our wedding process and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted. AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, from the smallest details like what we want our signature drink to be to making sure there was plenty of food and drinks for us in the bridal suite. The food was so incredible, plentiful, and came out hot! The wait and bar staff was so attentive and professional. I said from the beginning, I wanted a one stop shop venue, I didn’t want to have to deal with the small details, I just wanted to walk in and have everything there for us. Galilee Beach Club exceed our expectations. They did LITERALLY EVERYTHING from bathroom baskets to seating charts to event clean up and coordinating with our other vendors. I literally have nothing but positive feedback. Book your wedding here, you won’t regret it. MANY thanks to the entire staff and Emily at the beach club. It was the best day ever.",

The dessert was amazing, kudos to the new pastry chef, our red velvet wedding cake was so delicious, as were the cannolis and everything else. The staff was great, very attentive, putting water in my hand even when I didn’t know I needed it. The bartenders were the best, my guests were raving about how good they were. Lastly the venue itself, just go visit and see for yourself, you’ll fall in love with the private beach immediately just like I did. "content": "Galilee Beach Club was an absolute dream wedding venue. And the HUGEST shout out to Emily Hodges who made our big day possible. When my husband and I first started looking for a wedding venue, we had a very specific vision in mind. We wanted a beachfront wedding with a vintage coastal vibe and (I cannot stress this enough) the entire thing in the sand. Every venue I looked at was more than willing to do a beachfront ceremony but reception had to take place indoors. And then we found Galilee. From the first call with Emily, she was 100% on board with my \"toes in the sand\" idea. Wedding, dinner, dancing..she knew exactly what i was talking about. And from there she made our vision come to life. Every single detail was accommodated. And it wasn't coming from a place of hospitality and customer service. She genuinely was so excited for us to have our perfect wedding. She even offered to store our decorations at her house because we were coming from out of state and didn't have a place to put things. She is the absolute sweetest and amazing at what she does. She was able to take the venue that was already beautiful and turn it into something straight out of our dreams. Can't recommend her and Galilee enough. ",

She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I knew that our wedding was in good hands from the start. Emily made planning a breeze, and the wedding was absolutely perfect! The staff was on top of everything, even through last minute changes to our timeline. The food was delicious and the bartenders were great! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a perfect beach wedding! ",

The ceremony on the beach was beautiful and a great spot for sunset photos. They have cocktail hour on the outdoor deck and dinner inside with delicious food. It’s decorated very nicely and you can add any other decorations that you want. The staff is very helpful with setting everything up and taking it down after. David is also a great manager to work with and helped make our day perfect. We had an outdoor fire pit and all of our guests commented on how beautiful of a place we picked. We highly recommend getting married here!",

Reception area that you can decorate how you want- you can dress it up! Pictures dont do it justice - It was beautiful and perfect for our 100 guests. Everyone loved the firepits outside too.\nYes, the caterer is set but 1. One less hard decision to make and still get to pick your food options and 2. BEST wedding food I've ever had! Kevin's staff was great and attentive - even saved the last of my favorite wine for me! \nDavid, the manager, is the perfect balance of laid back and super helpful. Promptly answers any questions, let me visit whenever requested and helped with day-of details. \nReAnn, as other reviews mention, is the BEST! Even planning before hand, she paid attention to every little detail. From perfectly setting up everything up, making sure I had my drink before and after ceremony, making sure everything went perfectly smooth and even helped clean up after. Felt like she was my best friend- Love you girl! \nSince I am such a planner, my only regret was not being able to talk to ReAnn sooner. But they know what they are doing and I cannot think of a more magical location!",

"content": "After falling in love with the venue, we were a little nervous to hear there was an exclusive caterer. Well, there was no need to fear because Kevin and his team were simply incredible! After meeting Kevin, there was zero hesitation. He is honest, kind, and helpful. The food was phenomenal, nearly every guest we talked to commented on how awesome it was and they appreciated the portion size too. You will be happy with the options provided, we had a lot of fun choosing the meal. \n\nWhen you book, you will most likely work with ReAnn (the catering sales manager). The first time I spoke with ReAnn, I felt the biggest sense of relief - she is AMAZING! She is compassionate, patient, and responsive. On the day of the wedding, she was very attentive and SO reassuring. ReAnn definitely made our wedding day a dream come true. \n\nHuge shout out to David, he was absolutely amazing!\n\n***Side Story: It down-poured the day of our wedding and cleared up right before our ceremony. From the moment I walked in ReAnn and David reassured me that the ceremony would be outside. It was my dream to get married with toes in the sand and they literally made it happen! I will be forever grateful to the entire team for their efforts that day and for making it possible.",

"content": "I had my wedding ceremony in the church but my reception at the Beach Club. Fortunately for me the day beautifully sunny and 60 degrees. My inside wedding reception photos are beautiful with the ocean in the background. I had 100 people at my wedding which was the perfect size. They said up to 125 could fit but that would have been tight. We had the firepits and smores at night. They also allowed us to bring games to play on the beach (cornhole). It's a nice, intimate setting and picture perfect. This was the exact setting we were looking for.. laid back and beachy. ",
