        "content": "Horrible! I recently had a baby shower at the new building where brunches will be held. Tammy did not follow our contract and had nothing prepared. The event space was not cleaned, was a complete construction zone with dead and live BUGS everywhere.  I asked for a shop vac and started to suck up earwigs and spiders and saw dust at eight months pregnant. A place where we would be serving food and at an event space we were paying for. It was a very fake it till you make it, but you never made it. If the space was not ready for people to occupy then it should not have been used or charged for. We were told many things that were not true.  The bathrooms were as if someone was living there and had not cleaned up after themselves. Used dirty towels hanging out and a dirty bath mat in front of the toilet with a water pic on the back of the toilet. We were baffled. \nWhen I called after the event and spoke to John on the phone, he said that it was better than using the one 100s of guest in the garden was using. He was demeaning, inappropriate and inexcusable. Also, stated he did me a favor by having a bar tender available when actually by law it need to be provided. We were also told that the live jazz music being performed in the garden would be \"pumped in through the sound system\". That was also a small speaker in the corner and was not true. There was no music and we provided our own playlist. \nTammy did not communicate the wine that previously selected and declined my \"membership\" discount. The wine selections that were chosen were not provided the day of. Tammy was also not on campus on the day of our event and it's unclear who the lead was. \nTo add to the mess, there were tours being given to young men by the older gentleman THOUGH our private event. It was very inappropriate and my guest kept asking me about it. The absolute final straw that broke me was towards the end, as I was opening baby shower gifts a woman walked right into the event with an umbrella, asking me how the event was going as I was in the middle of opening gifts in front of people letting us know that we had five minutes remaining. According to Tammy, prior to the event, we could stay a little past the event time as there was no one booked after us. My guest were absolutely flabbergasted by this woman who just walked in a disrupted the party. Again, no one seemed to have any clue what was happening.Asked speak to someone after phone calls and 4 email attempts the vineyard did not respond. Told me they would circle back. Do not go here. Go to Newport vineyards! Wayyyyyy better experience and had my bridal shower there!",

        "content": "Loved the 2star review. That was fun, thank you.  Was \"costumer\" a mistake or a real pun?  This bride had a 1st world problem.  3 weeks?  That's long?  Best of luck in the marriage.\r\nMy family experience with Greenvale has been lovely.  Hopefully, they will send back refunds quicker and continue their kind hospitality.  Although, I am not a bride, I do enjoy this establishment and recommend them as a 5 star experience!",

        "content": "We loved every part of having Greenvale as our wedding venue.  From Day 1, Maggie was incredibly helpful and always had our backs, and we never had any problems coordinating vendors, caterers, etc.  And the setting itself?  Can't get better -- it is almost obscenely scenic.  We plan on making a stop at Greenvale an annual tradition in our family. One thing to note (and you'll be told this ASAP): the reception has to end at 10 PM sharp because of local noise rules.  It wasn't a worry for us, since we just arranged an afterparty in Newport, but it is useful to know.",

        "content": "my fiancé and I chose Greenvale to host our wedding ceremony and reception. At first, they were very helpful with answering questions. \r\nDue to issues with other vendors, we ended up having to switch our venue to somewhere else. When it came time to get our deposit back, Greenvale was especially unhelpful and difficult. They said they were going to mail us a check with the deposit refund in it, however after almost 3 weeks of me constantly asking about the status, we still had not received anything and come to find out they hadn't even sent it. All of the email responses I received involved them coming up with excuses as to why it hadn't been sent and how they would be going to the bank \"that afternoon\" to get it. We ended up having to contact our credit card company and dispute the charge through them and they ended up refunding it through us. When I contacted the event manager at Greenvale to ask about what was taking so long, she never got back to me. I am very disappointed in their costumer service and the way the situation was handled.\r\n\r\nI thoroughly enjoy their wine tastings so it's a bummer that we couldn't have the event there...         "content": "Greenvale Vineyards is an absolutely gorgeous place to have a wedding.  Staff is polite and welcoming and the setting is absolutlely beautiful.  The only downside is that they don't have alot of parking and the town of portsmouth will only allow the venue to have events till 10pm.  This didn't bother me and I had what felt like a fairytale wedding.  Turned out to be perfect ad exquisitely beautiful.  Received nothing but compliments from my guests which makes a bride very happy.",
