"content": "We booked an event but unfortunately had the event planner changed in the middle of planning. The staff itself was helpful and cordially but the event itself did not go well. We had 200-225 guest for a buffet style dinner and unfortunately several people did not eat thinking they ran out of food. No one monitoring the buffet line. They did eventually bring out more food but people had already gone through. One couple even shared one chicken breast but did not get any steaks. Also you were required to purchase one dessert from them if you used an outside vendor for desserts and they forgot to bring out till the end of the evening. We brought this to their attention but absolutely no response . If you spend $100000 I think details matter",

Daria, our wedding coordinator, was super helpful and gave suggestions of ways to get us what we dreamed of without breaking the bank. She was very responsive and helped us navigate this day without any stress. Newport Beach House staff is more than accommodating and shows pride in their jobs, and fully enjoys being apart of special days. "content": "My daughter was married at the Newport Beach House (NBH) on September 21, 2024. From start to finish we had an excellent experience at NBH as a result of the hardworking and dedicated staff, the beauty of the venue, the delicious food and the excellent service both we are our guests received. We live out of state and it was still easy to have meetings with our event coordinator, Daria Westberg to plan every step of the wedding details. Daria was a pleasure to work with and she was accessible and kind and she went way beyond our expectations to provide top-notice service. Daria provided excellent input and her suggestions were spot on. Along with Daria, every staff member we encountered made it their mission to provide excellent service as if it was their own family member's wedding. The food tasting was very helpful because it allowed us to pick the menu we desired. We love the wedding food and received excellent feedback from our guests. For appetizers that were passed we had lobster rolls, beef burger sliders, samosas, chicken kabobs, corn fritters, fish tacos and a table with selected cheeses and crackers and a charcuterie board. The salad was the Hearts of Romaine and the Dinner choices were: Filet Mignon, Glazed Nordic Salmon and a vegetarian dish with Butternut Squash and Leek Risotto. Dessert was a dessert table with a variety of delicious choices and a S'mores Bar. The bride and groom chose to have a \"ceremonial cake\" and that worked out very well. On the day of the wedding it rained and the ceremony needed to be held inside. It was very reassuring that the facility had an excellent backup plan. The room and the view were gorgeous and the acoustics were perfect. We would recommend the NBH 100%!!!!!!",

Not only is the location great, but Daria, our wedding coordinator, was amazing as well. She orchestrated everything beautifully, took care of us on the day of the wedding, and answered emails in a timely manner leading up to our big day! I would highly recommend choosing Newport Beach House for your venue though no matter which coordinator is assigned to your event. We fell in love with the venue and so did our guests. They also told us how much they LOVED the food! Everything was very tasty, more than you would expect for \"wedding food.\" It was definitely worth the money. Our guests were impressed at the service at the event as well - the staff sets everyone's plate down at the same time which is super cool to see. It was the perfect space for us and the best backdrop for our ceremony. Highly recommend!",

"content": "My fiancé and I went to tour and were immediately in love!!! I went back and fourth with both Carly and Raleigh from their sales team. Both were wonderful!!!!! They worked with me to get close to my budget and answered all of my silly questions. I would 110% recommend to anyone! I wanted this venue so badly- BUT we are planning a last minute (6mo) wedding and simply couldn’t pull off coordinating an out of state wedding. I am still sad we didn’t pick Newport Beach House!! ",

"content": "We fell in love with Newport Beach House from the moment we visited and knew we wanted to get married there. The space is absolutely breathtaking and perfectly fit our vibe of upscale but fun. \n\nWe were quickly matched with Leighton, our event specialist, who couldn’t have been more wonderful. Leighton was detailed, responsive and enthusiastic at each part of our wedding planning process. She answered questions from both of my parents, my husband and me to make sure everyone was informed and involved. She took note of our priorities - personal touches, great food, and a fun atmosphere and made suggestions that supported our overall event.\n\nThe day before our wedding, Leighton supported our rehearsal and was exactly the type of person you’d want running your wedding - everyone was having fun but absolutely listening and understanding what she was saying. \n\nWedding day itself was truly a dream for us. It POURED the day of our wedding and I was trying not to panic as our vision of the beautiful outdoor ceremony went away. Leighton and the Newport Beach House team went above and beyond making sure the indoor space looked beautiful and created options for us on where/how to host cocktail hour with the most seamless flow for our guests. The sky opened up for some sunshine right as we said our vows and the team made adjustments to our timeline so we could grab some outdoor photos - so glad we still got to take advantage of First Beach!\n\nOverall, we thought the food was amazing. Our family doesn’t take food lightly. For our cocktail hour we had mini lobster rolls, crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, caprese bites, mac and cheese bites, Korean beef skewers, Tuscan chicken kabobs plus a raw bar, charcuterie & cheese board. All were delicious…my favorites were the seafood options. Our dinner options were filet, chicken and eggplant and we got a lot of compliments on all 3. We also opted for late night options including churros, smash burgers, fries, ice cream sandwiches & s’mores bites. It was a really fun way to include dessert without interrupting dancing! \n\nOur bartenders were excellent, as was the entire staff at Newport Beach House. I really felt the team went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t experience anything different with the weather, managing and changing all of our vendors appropriately as we watched the day. \n\nThank you so much Leighton & Newport Beach House for giving us our perfect wedding day! ",

Leighton was amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process & day of, and her response time was so quick. I highly recommend asking to work with her if you get married here! The venue is gorgeous and the food is SO good. The staff were both professional and friendly to our guests. Getting married at Newport Beach House was worth every penny and I cannot recommend it enough! ",

"content": "My fiancé and I recently got married last weekend at the Newport Beach house and are currently in Rome for our honeymoon but we had to stop and write this review to show our deep appreciation for Ardriana. \n\nTo begin, Longwood Venues is beyond lucky to have Ardriana on their team, she is truly one of a kind and will be their every step of the way to ensure you have the wedding of a lifetime. \n\nIf you are planning to get married at the Newport Beach House or Bel Mer venue, be sure to ask for Ardriana. \n\nWe just wanted to thank Adriana from the bottom of our hearts for everything she have done to make our wedding so special and memorable. Without Ardriana, our wedding day would not have been possible and we couldn’t have been happier to have her take part in our special day. Everyone had an amazing time, the food was delicious, and the venue was perfect. Mark and I are so truly grateful and genuinely happy to have her with us throughout this whole once in a lifetime experience. There are not enough words to describe our appreciation for her help and assistance through the planning process and on our wedding day. \n\nMy fiancé works in hospitality for the St. Regis Marriott hotels and he says that there are very few to no people that treat their customers to the standards that Ardriana did for us. The level of service and professionalism went above and beyond my expectations. Ardriana was very responsive throughout the whole process as we finalized our guest count and made tweaks to our food/ rental options. The wedding day went so smoothly thanks to all of her hard work organizing the timeline and coordinating with our vendors. We had our reception in the Eventide room and were lucky to have great weather for an outside ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests raved about the beach/ sunset views from the deck and how delicious all of the food was. Newport Beach House was truly the venue of my dreams!",

We lucked out with perfect weather too, so we got to have our ceremony outside :). Our reception was in Eventide. Our guests really enjoyed using the deck throughout the night. Everyone told us how much fun they had and how much they liked the food. Daria was our Event Specialist and was AMAZING! She was professional, kind, prompt, responsive, organized, and detail oriented throughout the entire planning process and the day of. She made sure our day ran smoothly and was even the one to bustle my dress when no one else could figure it out! Thank you Daria, Carly, and everyone else at NBH for an amazing day! As disappointed as we were to not have the ceremony outside, the inside “plan b” ended up being just as amazing and beautiful. Hands down, one of the best wedding venue food I’ve ever had too. We used the Eventide, Deck and Terrace and it's beautiful without taking away from the spectacular views seen out all the large windows. We worked with Emily and Ardriana during our planning and they both answered any and all questions even at odd hours. We probably could have asked them for anything and they would have figured out a way to make it work. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and we couldn't have done it without them!",

"content": "When we first visited Newport Beach House, we knew this was where we had to have our wedding. The breathtaking views and backdrop were absolutely perfect and were just as amazing on our wedding day (despite a somewhat rainy day). We used the Eventide room for our ceremony and reception and the Oyster Lounge for our after party. It was great having the entire day and night at the same location, and each room/part of the night still felt like a new experience. The food was fantastic; everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Our guests were raving about their meals and those with dietary restrictions and allergies were very appreciative of how much attention the staff paid to these.\n\nI cannot speak highly enough of Ardriana — she was the absolute best! From the initial stages of planning to the final details, Ardriana made it so easy for us. She always supported any decisions we made and went out of her way to make things work. She made the day feel so personal and it felt like she knew us so well. She was so cool, calm, and collected and her confidence made us confident that our day would go perfectly. We didn’t have to think of any logistics on our day. Ardriana and the team had already thought of everything and planned for it with such attention to detail. We are truly so grateful for the team at Newport Beach House for helping us have the perfect day. ",

While we live in Rhode Island, all of our guests were coming from out of state - making it a bit stressful for us to ensure that guests had amazing food, service and experience due to the extra time and money they would spend traveling to celebrate us.\n\nEvery single guest came up to us and said if they had someone they knew looking to get married out of our home state of New York, Newport Beach House would be it. The food was outstanding, the drinks were strong, and the venue itself was stunning. We really lucked out with the weather on our wedding day, but regardless would have been beautiful.\n\nFrom start to finish, we could not have asked for better support from the team at NBH - starting with Emily our initial point of contact, to Daria our wedding coordinator who I cannot thank enough, to our bridal attendant Kenya. The servers, cooks/chefs and bartenders were engaging and top tier. \n\nWhile it was definitely an expense, it was worth EVERY PENNY! With nearly every guest saying it was the best wedding they ever attended, we knew it wasn't just a polite compliment, but they truly believed it was a top experience. "content": "We had our wedding at Newport Beach House in November 2022. From the moment I laid eyes on the venue, I knew I wanted to have our wedding here. The venue itself is stunningly beautiful - a clean and modern yet beachy and boho space of my dreams. The views outside on the beach are as stunning as they are inside the venue itself. We rented out the entire venue for our wedding, which I highly recommend, especially for a larger wedding. Our event coordinator, Ardriana, was amazing to work with from start to finish. She made the entire process so easy. Everything from the food to the service was incredible on the day of our event. The only complaint we had was that the venue does nickel and dime for anything you want to add on. This was completely unrelated to Ardriana but when spending so much money on a venue, it seems a little silly to charge an additional $500 for needing to get into the venue 20 minutes early for a first look. This is probably pretty standard in the industry but felt a little stingy. Regardless of this, I would choose NBH again and again and cannot recommend them (and Ardriana!) enough for helping us host the wedding of our wildest dreams! All of our guests had an amazing time and absolutely loved the space.",

All of the food was delicious and came out timed perfectly. The bartenders did an amazing job creating picturesque signature cocktails and overall the service was seamless. The event space is airy, with tons of natural gorgeous light and spectacular view of the beach and iconic cliff walk. The interior design of the space is also very well done. The décor is somewhat nautical without being obvious or cheesy, it's very tastefully subtle which I appreciated a lot.\n \nWorking with the NBH team was so seamless and easy. Our event coordinator was with us every step of the way and made me feel so at ease going into the big day knowing that our venue had us 100% covered on everything being coordinated. We did not need to hire an outside Planner because the amazing staff of NBH took care of everything. I was completely stress-free entering my reception and seeing everything set up perfectly as I had envisioned.\n\nNewport Beach House has some of the most stunning views in Newport and the location is perfect for being close to downtown but still a little removed so that your guests don't have to worry about busy areas, crazy hotel rates or transportation. There are great hotels right across the street which saved us a ton on transportation costs!",

From the first tour 16 months ago until the end of the after party (which is conveniently on the premises, downstairs!) the NBH and the staff surpassed all expectations! \nOur friends have sent me texts raving about venue, the food, and the GORGEOUS setting! \"best wedding food, best appetizers, my steak was cooked to perfection, everyone had a clean plate at our table, gorgeous setting\" is just a sampling of the comments I have been receiving. \nDaria and her staff went above and beyond at the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. Every time I turned around someone was asking me if they could do something for me. My daughter, her friends in the bridal party, and my immediate family were treated so kindly. The views are absolutely stunning and the venue is a blank canvas to help make your vision come to life but what really is the best is the people. They helped us plan and execute the perfect wedding and we cannot stop getting compliments. Our wedding coordinator, Ardriana, was such a pro. She is organized, offers great advice and is cool, calm and collected which helped put us at ease. The day-off staff was fantastic and were there to help answer any question or request. The food was fantastic and everything came out hot and delicious. When my husband and I were caught up going table to table and our food got cold, the staff noticed before we did and got us hot plates for when we sat back down. We cannot recommend this venue enough! They made everything easy and were so accomodating!",

"content": "I honestly cannot say enough good things about this venue. I had my wedding on 9/10/22, and it was the most magical and beautiful day EVER! First of all, the venue itself is stunning. When looking for venues, I had wanted an outdoor ceremony with a modern indoor reception; and this is exactly what we found here! We had our ceremony outdoors with the most amazing sunset, followed by a beautiful outdoor cocktail hour, and then moved inside for the best night!!! From the beginning of the process, Newport Beach House was very easy to work with, I enjoyed so much working with our event specialist, Daria, she made everything so easy, seamless, and not to mention she was so so easy to communicate with. Made me feel so less stressed for the big day! The food was also AMAZING and bartender service was great! We received so many compliments! There are not enough wonderful words to convey how exceptional every detail was taken care of. We began two years ago with Carly who helped us book the venue. Carly was terrific with beginning questions and local vendor assistance. From there we had the unbelievable good fortune to be assigned to Daria who was our dream coordinator come true! Daria is simply amazing. She is professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, organized, intelligent, fun, hard-working, caring, gracious, friendly, unbelievably responsive and so kind. Daria truly cares. We felt as if we were her only clients and was with us every step of the way. She was there the day of the wedding, along with the Venue Manager Isam and wedding attendant Jaykenia, who were absolutely terrific in making sure everything was perfect. From start to finish - including the private tasting (so fun and so delicious) to meal choices, linen selections, rentals, communication with vendors, billing questions, after party information, and packing up after the wedding was taken care of with ease by Daria and the amazing staff. The chef is outstanding, the food amazing, the view spectacular and the staff top notch. If you are looking for a romantic, beachside venue with an amazing staff and catering/bar/rentals all in one place, then this is the venue for you. \n\nStarting a little over a year in advance, we worked with Carly for several months who was so helpful in our initial booking process. We then worked with Ardriana from the point of our food tasting onward and she was the absolute BEST. Her organization and communication was impeccable and her enthusiasm was unmatched (on our two week pre-event phone call, I couldn't tell who was more excited, myself or Ardriana!). She was also our day-of coordinator and went above and beyond. From finding 50 bobby pins to stabilize my veil when the coastal winds kept ripping it out to running out on the deck in a torrential downpour to save our outdoor signs, she truly did it all. We are so grateful.\n\nThe food was some of the best wedding food I have ever eaten (and yes I actually got to eat because the staff were so helpful in making sure my husband and I did!). Many of our guests said the same thing. The drinks were also great! Everyone loved our signature Aperol Spritz. They also added a beer to the bar list for us because my husband and his guys love Michelob Ultra. I could list many more small details they did to make our night perfect but instead I will just say, don't think twice and book it!",

"content": "Newport Beach House was the perfect venue for our perfect day. I cannot rave enough about every detail NBH offered. The interior is newly renovated- lots of clean white modern decor, open and airy and very luxurious while still feeling beachy. The lawn where we got married has breathtaking views right on the water and the dramatic staircase entrance for the bridesmaids and bride was SO gorgeous. The staff is amazing. Daria was our coordinator and was extremely organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process as well as day of. I did not have a single stress on my wedding day because she took care of every detail and the execution far exceeded our expectations! Our guests still rave about the food at NBH- many say it was truly some of the best wedding food they have ever had. In addition to passed apps, we splurged for an oyster shucker and a New England station with traditional New England favorites (clam chowder, lobster rolls, etc.) and it really elevated the entire cocktail hour. The reception timeline went off without a hitch, the dance floor was a great size for our 200 person event and the indoor / outdoor feature the balcony provided was so perfect to entertain a large crowd on a summer night! They offer an after party location onsite in their Oyster Lounge. It feels like a whole new space- has fire pits and is indoor/ outdoor. We had a dj, late night apps, and dancing and it was the perfect way to keep the party going! Highly recommend NBH!!",

Pristine views, crisp & modern interior, fantastic and accommodating staff, and a knowledge of Indian weddings. I hosted my Indian ceremony/reception for my fusion Indian/catholic wedding here and they were phenomenal. From the baraat on the beach to the ceremony in the lawn to the cocktail hour downstairs and the reception upstairs, the service and attention to detail was immaculate. The food is out of this world (highly recommend their in house Indian/fusion menu) and the bartenders were fantastic. My bridal attendant was SO attentive, and Daria (our in house coordinator) was so easy to work with and kept the day moving along perfectly. This was no ordinary wedding, there was so much packed into one day, but the beautiful beach house was so accommodating that it felt easy. It’s an expensive venue, but worth every single penny. I’ll be remembering and reliving this day for the rest of my life. Thank you, NBH.",

They do their food in-house, which is also incredible - our guests kept saying it was the best wedding food they’d had. Longwood also was flexible and added a few touches for us, complimentary, which was such a nice touch. We were looking for a place that did it all, because we didn’t want to deal with hiring lots of other vendors such as caterers, etc., and Longwood was a perfect choice.",

"content": "There are not enough words to express how wonderful the team at Newport Beach House is! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day, and that is in big part due to Daria and her team! i want to give a special shout out to our wedding attendant, Kalina, who was just the sweetest and had everything packed in the car and inventoried by the time we left! I know there was an issue at one table that needed to be cleaned up, but both my husband and I weren't even aware until the next day! They cleaned it up without even causing a disruption. The food is amazing and the flow of the night was perfect. When there was a storm rolling in last minute, they were ready to hustle to move the location of the ceremony before we all decided to start early and that wnt down flawlessly as well. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our day everything i wanted and more!",

My husband and I started planning our wedding in 2019 scheduled to be married Nov 1, 2020. Due to Covid we were forced like so many to move and reschedule. NBH and their team members made everything so easy, stressless and seamless during this hectic time. Their venue, view and staff are second to none and the service is the best you could request. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. My mom and I bought a ton of decor to decorate the tables, room and cocktail hour to match our fall rustic theme; we left everything in the hands of Ardriana and she blew us away with the way the room was set up. We really can’t thank her and everyone there for their support to get us to our reception day (finally) and would advise everyone that Newport Beach House should be the place you chose to be married.",
