Clean, neutral decor lends itself to easy transformation into your wedding dream via uplighting and drapery. Our Providence Ballroom provides the perfect venue for a more intimate, romantic gathering featuring gold candelabra chandeliers. This event space can accommodate up to 130 guests for dinner and dancing and is located on our third floor of event space. Accommodations Omni Providence offers over 500 comfortable and stylish guest rooms and suites to facilitate luxurious relaxation before or after your event. This hotel venue offers a suite for the couple-of-honor for the night of their celebration, as well as suite upgrades for parents of the happy couple. A special rate on guest rooms can also be provided for your out-of-town guests. Services Offered Omni Providence offers a comprehensive array of services to make your wedding day a sparkling success starting with their professional wedding planning. The in-house culinary team will work with you to design a menu that reflects your style and taste, while the professional bar staff serves a range of premium beverages and signature cocktails. "content": "From our initial tour through checking out the morning after our wedding, Colleen and her staff could not have possibly been more knowledgeable and accommodating. We always felt to taken care of by the Omni staff. Chef David was also excited by the challenge of creating a fully bespoke vegan menu for us and the results were incredible. As icing on the cake, we also can attest that the Omni provides an incredible value compared to other local venues, its hard to overstate how much bang for our buck we got. 10/10, would recommend to anyone.",

I am so glad we went through with that idea because the Omni was the perfect place to showcase what a gem Providence, RI is as a small city. Maggie was our main coordinator and Danielle was our room block/vendor coordinator. These two women were absolutely AMAZING throughout this planning season!! I do not think our special day would have gotten such high compliments from us, guests, and vendors if it wasn’t for their professionalism and passion. Look no further if you want a city wedding on a budget in southeastern New England. Omni is timeless, elegant, and modern. It is connected to the Providence Place Mall where you can use Level99 as a fun pre-party or Fleming’s for a rehearsal dinner option. Best believe I will contact them for a future sorority event or fundraiser location.",

"content": "Our new years eve wedding at the Omni providence hotel was everything I could have hoped for. We really wanted a space that had everything in one so people didn't have to worry about driving or wearing coats. The omni had it all! we had our rehearsal dinner in Flemings, we had our ceremony ,cocktail hour and reception there and people had their rooms right upstairs ! As soon as I looked at the omni and met with the wedding coordinator Colleen Arena, I knew it was the place for us. Colleen was a saving grace during the entire wedding planning process, I could not have done it without her and Danielle Boyd. They constantly made me feel at ease and not stressed on all the to do's and had multiple meetings with me to make sure we had everything I was hoping for. The day of they were still going above and beyond and truly made our day special for us. The food was amazing and folks can't stop talking about what a great wedding it was. I can't recommend this hotel or this duo enough, you will not be disappointed with your decision !",

Colleen always reminded us of our budget when we asked for something higher than our budget. "content": "The Omni was a great venue to have a wedding all in one location. It was very easy and convenient to have the rehearsal to the reception all in one place. We also had a open bar so the ability to have people stay over for safety was amazing. Unfortunately, we did have slight issues on price as we signed our contract in 2021 and they changed prices in 2022. As this was a corporate change i was not necessarily upset with my support system. I will have to say that Colleen Arena, Danielle Boyd, & Jacob were nothing but amazing. Colleen was Always a phone call or email away and took time for in person meetings, even with our conflicting schedules. They all went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and knew exactly what we were being charged for. I do think all contracts need to be looked over closely, and even though it says included does not mean its of no cost. That however is a company wide issue, and I have to thank the workers at the Omni for making my day very special. Minor issues with a bartender for my husband and I during cocktail hour was absent. We however, had friends and family get our drinks so we weren’t pulled in million directions. At that time i was not concerned over this minor detail, as everything else was achieved plus added extras. It’s a fantastic place, food is amazing, and customer service is outstanding. Its affordable, just ask all questions before signing any paperwork. Despite the minimal setbacks, i am so happy with my decision. I would recommend The Omni in Providence to any one in the area looking for a upscale modern wedding theme, you won’t be disappointed. A big thank you to Colleen, Danielle, & Jacob for making my wedding a true fairytale.",

Not only was it beautiful in aesthetic, but they also provided the upmost professionalism when helping our dreams come to fruition. She is very easy to work with and responded promptly whenever my husband and I had a question. She is the BEST! I recommend working with her. \n\nThe reason why I’m rating them 5 stars is because originally we were suppose to have our wedding in October of 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone due to the restrictions that were put in place in the state of Rhode Island. If you can imagine, this was a stressful time for my husband and I. But Omni worked with us and did their very best to accommodate and find a new date for us.\n\nWe were very happy that we stuck it out with Omni. In fact, our wedding was the first wedding to kick off the wedding season since the pandemic and I must say, we set the bar with the help of the Omni Staff! \n\nIf you’re looking for a venue with a team that is on point, Omni Providence Hotel is where is at! "content": "We had began our experience with pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, pretty soon after we ran into some problems. Our original contact, Alicia, left the company. We did not receive any notice from the hotel, rather I received a notice that an email I attempted to send was un-deliverable. I had to call the hotel who put me in contact with someone else until they hired a replacement. Once the replacement was hired, it didn't appear that there was really a knowledge transfer. I found myself having to repeat details over and over again, in person, through email, etc. We also ran into problems with our room block. It was brought to my attention that guests were booking rooms through the Omni directly for $60 less than our room block rate. Aside from the overall organization, on the day of, I arrived to check in at 4pm and was made to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes while they \"checked the room\". I had to check in with the front-desk several times as I needed to get ready for my rehearsal and had all my wedding stuff (gown, etc.). For the rehearsal itself, Natalie had a family emergency and did not have a back up in place to assist us as she believed that the officiant could handle everything. Our officiant ended up getting rear ended and was unable to attend leaving my 30 person wedding party scrambling in the lobby looking for someone to assist us. After 20 minutes, someone from the Omni came down and directed us to where we needed to go, because the room I had been advised we had, was incorrect. We ended up being rushed and late for our dinner. On the day of, rather than utilize the vendor list and timeline i had provided, the hotel kept calling my room asking if vendors could come up to the suite to deliver goods and services. After our first look photos, Natalie advised me to wait upstairs and she would come back up to get me... at 5pm, we noticed everyone was lining up and nobody had come to get me. Luckily my maid of honor went to check and we made our way downstairs on our own. For photographs during cocktail hour, Natalie was nowhere to be found. She really needed another person to assist in helping the wedding party get organized for photos. Rather, I was kind of left telling people where to be. \n\nWhat I will say, is the food was amazing, the staff was friendly (for the most part aside from my check-in experience), and the bartenders went out of their way to get me Shipyard Pumpkin even though it wasn't regularly stocked at the bar. The night was amazing despite the hiccups, but I would have expected more from such a great hotel.",

"content": "We used the Omni Providence to host our room blocks for our wedding. The sales team was absolutely amazing! I booked the block pretty early since we had a long engagement so our managing sales agent got changed maybe 3 or 4 times during the entire process. I would normally complain about that but honestly each agent was super responsive and never made me feel like I was a nuisance for asking questions. They were all top notch! Arda was our sales agent when the actual day of came around. She helped setup lunch to be delivered to my suite on the day of for the girls and it went great. The food arrived right on time and kept us on schedule and it was delicious! The suite she put us in was beautiful and had so much room for us all to get ready in. They even delivered champagne that night for my now husband and I to sit down and enjoy once our big night had finally settled down. My only complaint would be that the guest gift bags were not all delivered to the rooms as they should have been. If a guest has their Do Not Disturb sign out they won’t get it. I wish they would have been delivered prior to check in to avoid that issue. We had some changes in our shuttle schedule so the gift bags had that information for guests. Everyone made it to the venue though so it all worked out. Otherwise, the Omni was such a beautiful hotel and I’m so glad we chose to do our room block there!",

"content": "I couldn’t have asked for a better venue than the Omni Providence Hotel. From the very beginning, Richard, our coordinator, was responsive to all of our questions. The details of the wedding package were clearly explained and there were a variety of choices in terms of linens, uplighting, menu choices, and the set up of the ballroom. The room rate offered for our wedding block was very competitive and the majority of our guests stayed over because of this, making our wedding an all night event! The day of our wedding, I did not worry about a single thing, Richard and his staff set up the cocktail hour space and the ballroom exactly the way I described. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the entrée to the cupcake station and even the late night chicken tender and fries station. Our wedding reception ran perfectly and we have to thank Richard and the staff at the Omni for running a smooth and perfect reception for us and our guests. "content": "The Omni is in the perfect location in downtown Providence right next to the Providence Place Mall. We chose them because of the location and also the sheer size. We were able to fit all of our wedding guests with room to spare. \nWe also hosted our day-after brunch in one of their restaurants. It was a great space and the food was delicious. \nWhen we reached our bridal suite after the wedding was over, we found champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and rose petals spread through. And the suite was incredible, with a private balcony, huge living room, and the most comfortable bed. \nThey made the entire process seamless for us and our guests.\n\nMy only complaint would be that they charged to deliver the Welcome Gift Bags and would not just have them at the desk for when guests checked in. But besides that, everything was wonderful!",

You could be living under a rock. You could have hit your head on said rock (I'm sorry). Whatever the condition, let me save you some time and energy (which I spent, so you don't have to): allow Sarah and her team to rock your world and deliver a wedding experience that meets every expectation you ever had. From the first moment I met Sarah, I knew I wanted to work with her. I didn't want a hotel wedding, and my husband did because we had so many guests from out of town. Thank goodness I met Sarah. I was so excited to say \"YES\" to the Omni. Sarah was not only responsive to my every need, but she was one step ahead the entire process, anticipating things we'd need to take care of. Four days after my wedding, I cannot even leave for my honeymoon without writing a review and giving this woman and her staff the praise they deserve. The locations for beautiful photos are endless and having your reception in a location that your guests can also sleep at is great. Sarah was very accommodating of all of our requests and was very flexible with the details from menu combinations to room layout. The only detail that seemed to have a disconnect was between the wedding planning and the front of house/reservations. My (the groom) mother had to get ready in my room from the night prior, that I refused to vacate, because her room for the night wasn't ready until half way through the reception. She had to leave the reception to move all of her stuff into her room. Other than that, everything went off without a hitch and we were told by all of our guests that we had one of the best weddings they had ever attended. ",

"content": "We had our wedding at the Omni Providence last October, and I cannot say enough how great it was. It was the second venue we looked at, and both my husband and I loved it from the start. The ballroom is huge and the chandeliers are amazing. Sarah Bauerle was amazing and she worked with me for weeks coming up with a day to fit our budget. We were so thrilled to get this venue. Not to mention, they redid the carpet and wallpaper in the ballroom right before our wedding (which looked amazing) along with the front entrance to the hotel. The food was amazing- I still get compliments to this day from our guests. Having the hotel for many of our guests to stay in was great also. We got a free suite on our wedding night and the room was fantastic (along with the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!) The whole night was amazing. The staff was the best and the night went so smoothly and without a hitch. I was never stressed at any point during the wedding, or during the year planning up to our wedding. If I could do it again, I would, and I wouldn't change a thing. I can't thank Sarah and the Omni staff enough. They were truly amazing and I would recommend the Omni Providence for anyone getting married! ",

"content": "My husband and I were both married and celebrated our reception at the Omni Hotel in Providence, RI. It was PERFECT from beginning to end. The Omni is a beautiful venue and one of the most spacious that we found. From the amazing ball room, to the cocktail hour area, and even the ladies room, this venue was more than large enough, while also being warm and welcoming for our large crowd. \r\n\r\nThe most important part, the staff, was incredible. If there is a professional to keep your mind at ease about the details, Sarah is that woman! She was always available to my endless emails and was there every step of the way on the big day. When I asked her opinion, she did not hesitate to offer her advice and expertise. As a bride it can be overwhelming to choose the details, with Sarah's help, my nerves were at ease.\r\n\r\nThe food was phenomenal. The same dishes that we had at our tasting was exactly what was served at the wedding. As we all know, sometimes you cannot trust a venue to deliver this quality. The Omni was flawless. WOW is my reaction. We were so pleased that our guests were happy with the entrees and our late night food station. We also chose to have brunch the next morning for our guests and it was a wonderful addition. It was great to see everyone the next morning to get in our goodbye's and enjoy a wonderful breakfast together.\r\n\r\nIt is safe to say, if you are looking for a venue in Providence, look no further because the Omni is where you want to be! "content": "I had my wedding reception at the Omni Providence Hotel. When originally looking for a venue, I was sure that I did not want a hotel. After visiting the Omni, I changed my mind. The Naragansett ballroom is absolutely beautiful! The lights/chandeliers are amazing and really \"make\" the room. The space is huge and so perfect for weddings of different sizes. We had 175 guests and there was still plenty of space for more. The dance floor is spacious and they even had a stage for our band. Sarah, the wedding coordinator was wonderful throughout the entire process. She was responsive to emails and always willing to work with us to accommodate our budget/requests. She really made the whole process much easier. I loved how we had the choice of linens and chairs, unlike many venues we had looked at. The food was also FANTASTIC. All of our guests kept talking about how delicious it was (often rare for weddings). I was blown away at the service throughout the entire weekend. We stayed at the hotel and our guests absolutely loved it. There is so much to do and it is centrally located to everything. I can't say enough great things about the Omni.... we are so happy that our wedding was there and I would recommend it to anyone looking in the area! All around great service, amazing food, and perfect space!",

"content": "After viewing a number of venues in the Newport and Providence areas we settled on Omni Providence for a number of reasons. Sarah, the Event Manager, was absolutely amazing to work with - she was responsive, thoughtful, and knew exactly what was required to make everything run smoothly. My parents, husband, and I had a few requests that we put to the hotel that are not normally part of their packages, but they were very accommodating and worked with us to ensure that we were satisfied with the solutions that they presented. \r\n\r\nThe space itself was absolutely gorgeous, and you can't beat the convenience of being right in Downtown Providence. The staff took amazing care of my family, guests, and I during the wedding weekend. When I checked into the hotel on Friday evening ahead of our rehearsal dinner (which we held at Flemmings - also an amazing decision!) I was a bit flustered and the staff was incredibly helpful and soothing. There were smiles and congratulations everywhere. Everyone seemed to know who I was before introducing myself. Upon arriving at my room I was absolutely floored to find that my room had been upgraded to the most gorgeous suite. \r\n\r\nAll of that said though - the biggest show stopper was the food. It's been over six months since my wedding and our guests are still RAVING about the menu. During our tasting we were shocked by how generous the portion sizes were. We even thought that, come wedding day, the portion sizes would be a bit smaller because there's no way they could feed nearly 200 people with sizes that large ... but they did. Everything was exactly as it was during the tasting - if not better!\r\n\r\nWhile the Omni might be a bit more expensive than other options in the area, you CERTAINLY get what you pay for and it was worth every red cent. \r\nI cannot recommend the venue, and specifically Sarah and her team, highly enough. \r\n\r\nThank you for making my wedding weekend, and the reception itself, the most amazing, wonderful, unforgettable day.\r\n",

"content": "After an exhaustive search for a wedding venue (I was convinced I did not want a hotel setting), I visited the Omni Providence after my big sister suggested it (she'd stayed at an Omni in another city). \r\n\r\nAfter viewing the variety of function rooms the Omni had to offer, and seeing how they could tailor offerings to meet our needs (small wedding with ceremony and reception in the same place), I knew I had found the right place (big sister was right again).\r\n\r\nSarah and her crew were there to walk me through the process from start to finish and never made me feel like my questions were ridiculous. She always responded promptly and was helpful with suggestions for florist, bakeries, and entertainment. \r\n\r\nMy (now) husband and I were impressed with the tasting. Everything was beautifully presented, and every detail was well thought out (including how we wanted our napkins folded). the food at the tasting was delicious, and was equally so at the actual reception. \r\n\r\nWe booked a block of rooms for guests and the reservation staff was helpful with that process, including placing gift bags in guests' rooms. We received a complementary junior suite which was quite nice.\r\n\r\nOur wedding was on a Saturday night and we had a brunch Sunday morning for all the guests who had stayed at the hotel (almost all of them). The food there was delicious as well. I never felt like it was \"hotel food\". \r\n\r\nThe Omni provided a beautiful backdrop for photos. The chandelier in the rotunda is in the background of one of my favorite photos, and the grand staircase also provided a stunning photo setting. \r\n\r\nI would definitely recommend the Omni as a one-stop venue. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and I never once felt like we had a cookie-cutter wedding. ",

"content": "Where do I start? \r\nDuring our initial conversations, we were ASSURED by the event manager that the carpet in the ballroom would be changed and we would be the first, if not one of the first to have our event on the new carpet - not only was that not the case but nothing what they promised us was delivered. The carpets were shoddy and stained. They tried to convince me the old puke colored orange would look better with my color scheme then the new vibrant red - are you kidding me? just unprofessional. The event manager was extremely unorganized randomly scribbling notes and requests all over the page and often missing details or agreeing to things they could not provide. \r\nAs for the wedding, at the cocktail hour I asked for bows to be tied at around the table cloth on the tall tables, which they did - but a 4 year old could have done a better job. They looked unprofessional and sloppy. Secondly, we specifically asked that the waiters enter with the hors deurves at both ends of the room so all the guests would have a fair shot at the food - they didn't and despite several requests during the wedding, they wouldn't and kept giving lame excuses. At the bar there was a bartender who should probably be collecting social security at this point - it took her several minutes to pour each drink and the people were just gathering around the bar waiting...impatiently. \r\nThe reception: first, the lights were uneven on both sides and when we asked to have them even the lights out they acted like they had never done this or heard that request before. Next, considering they have weddings there all the time you would think they would know how to make a bar look presentable and not similar to frat house, but no. We served 9 types of liquor + wine, beer and champagne. Instead of making the bar look stocked and done nicely, they literally put our the 9 liquors ONLY...it looked empty - i've never seen anything like it at a wedding where there is an event manager who supposed to know how to make things look beautiful. Furthermore, the event manager constantly kept coming over to me and separately to my husband to tell me of issues they were having - first they couldnt find the pasta dish in the kitchen, then they couldnt bring in the signing board because it was too heavy (despite her telling me that she could) and lastly, she explained that since the wedding didnt get stared till 630 the wedding would end at 1030, it didn't - it still ended at 10. After all these careless and amateur mistakes all she did was validate our parking. The point is - don't have your wedding here - they have no idea what they are doing whatsoever. One good thing I will say, the food was pretty good...once they found it. ",

"reviewText": "Booked a reservation for a non-refundable room months ago. It was our first time at an Omni. The two weeks leading up to our overnight, I started reading over a dozen recent reviews that were 1-3 stars ranging from quality of service issues to cleanliness which was my main concern. I called the hotel a few days before our stay and addressed the reviews which they were “shocked by and were working on immediately.”\n\nWhen we arrived our room was spotless. We were roomed on the 5th floor. We had robes and toiletries. Our entire night was quiet and service was exceptional at check-in and out. We parked in the conference center parking garage for $25 overnight instead of the $45 of valet at the Omni. The garage connects to the hotel and it a 2 min walk over a sky bridge.\n\nGreat location to a mall, CVS, bars and nice restaurants. 8 min walk to the flea market on Sunday and downtown Providence and the wharf. We loved our stay! Highly recommend."

"reviewText": "Love staying here! This was the third stay and always amazing service, also so very clean. Jerry, the security guard, is honest and serious about his job. He makes sure guests are safe and taken care of. He personally made sure I got to where I needed to go safely and went above and beyond to ensure the best service. The front desk staff is amazing and I highly recommend staying at the Omni as they have a top notch crew, in a top notch location!"

"reviewText": "Great location felt super safe and my friends were glad to meet here for our outing cuz some of providence is sketchy 😹! But firstly the girl with short hair at the desk was the best she helped us get a better room with corner view of the state house all lit up! Was fire. And the room was pretty sweet had glass lights one was different colors and it was legit huuge and had like 7 usb ports with a grand bathroom was definitely feeling like Kevin McAllister luxury in that suite!! 10/10 the best room I’ve had and the staff was all really nice and the place is beautiful including the lobby all decorated for Christmas would come here first."

"reviewText": "Very nice hotel located in the heart of downtown Providence. Fleming Steakhouse is located inside as well as a coffee shop. The best part is that there is a 3-4 story mall attached with a FABULOUS food court. It has Thai, Chinese, Sbarros, a cheesesteak place and a few other restaurants. It’s a small food court, but you can find something in it. Lastly, there are tons of stores and a movie theatre.\n\nRoom was clean, comfy and quiet."

"reviewText": "I am writing this review with extreme disappointment after a truly terrible stay. This hotel failed on the two most fundamental levels: cleanliness and customer service.\n\nThis was not a case of a minor oversight; the room was visibly dirty from the previous guests. The carpets/rugs were stained and had visible debris, the furniture was dusty and sticky, and the light switches were grimy. It was completely unacceptable.\n\nThe Housekeeping Issue:\nWe left the room at 8:15 AM for the day and noted a housekeeping cart just two doors down. We even exchanged \"good morning\" with the housekeeper. Despite this, our room was entirely skipped.\n\nThe Unprofessional and Rude Front Desk:\nThis was the worst part. When I called the front desk at 5:00 PM to report that our room had not been serviced, the staff member was immediately dismissive and argumentative. Instead of apologizing or sending someone to clean, he told me, \"You must not have ever stayed at a hotel before,\" and condescendingly informed me that they \"do not do turndown service.\"\n\nWe were not asking for turndown service—a simple evening courtesy. We were asking why our basic, daily room cleaning had been completely neglected. He was deliberately misrepresenting our complaint to avoid responsibility. His attitude was nasty, unprofessional, and utterly shocking.\n\nConclusion:\nA hotel should provide a clean, safe space and professional service. This hotel provided neither. The physical state of the room was unpleasant, but the disrespect from the front desk staff made the situation infuriating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere where you will be treated like a valued guest."
