The venue was exactly as I had dreamed it would be both inside and outside for the ceremony with bonuses added from Jacky, the country club manager and coordinator. She was a pleasure to work with and helpful in every way. This was a second wedding for us and I kept it simple and elegant. She knew what I wanted and made it happen. Jacky also made sure my parents needs were met throughout the day as they are elderly and had golf carts waiting at every stop. She made it fun, safe, but so helpful. I looked everywhere to have our special day and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! My only regret is I didn’t do it for a weekend long celebration. ❤️",

"content": "We hosted a wedding here the first week in October. The weather was beautiful which only added to a great experience. The bide and groom felt good about the Pawtucket Country Club after visiting several other venues. Their date was available so we met with the Director of Operations, Jackie Doyle. It was apparent that Jackie had been doing this a long time. She presented a package that covered everything from a suite for the bride to get ready in to the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. We went for a food tasting and were happy with the choices and quality that were presented to us. The package was flexible in that it allowed you to upgrade or bring in your own people. We found the vendors to be reputable, reasonable and reliable. We did use a couple outside people but for strictly personal reasons. \nThe Pawtucket Country Club is located across from Slater Park. It is a private golf club, the grounds are well maintained and provide for a beautiful backdrop for photos. The ceremony and banquet facility looks over the course and has a nice comfortable feel. The cocktail and reception rooms were on different floor each serviced with its own bar and two bartenders. Hors d'oeuvres and dinner selections were served hot and you could tell freshly prepared. I had many compliments on the food and the service. The DJ, George Confoey was excellent. He played a combination of requested music as well as his own mix. He read the crowd well and was enthusiastic right up till the end of the night.\nI would recommend Jackie and the Pawtucket Country Club not only for being well organized but also turning what can be a stressful event into a pleasant experience. ",

"content": "Could not be happier with our wedding at Pawtucket Country Club! It's hard to be the younger sister when it comes to your wedding! I wanted to be different than what my sister had, but my family and I were so happy with my sister's wedding thanks to Jackie Doyle at Pawtucket Country Club! We chose to return to the same venue because of her work at this beautiful space, and Jackie once again delivered the absolute BEST wedding! She truly exceeded all expectations. \nThe venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a recent addition of roofed deck off the side of the ballroom, updated ballroom fireplace and entryway foyer. The grounds are the perfect backdrop for photos, and our cocktail hour was able to take place on the pool deck, making it super unique! The ballroom is a perfect layout, comfortably fitting all our guests, and the fact that the bar is inside the ballroom allows everyone to stay in one room for the whole night. One of the most awesome details is how GREAT the food is, all of our guests had excellent reviews. \nWe truly give Jackie all the credit! She is the reason everything went perfectly! From the very beginning of planning, Jackie went above and beyond to push her boundaries of what she has seen before, making sure every small detail of our wedding was super unique and special. On the actual date, she delivered all she promised and more!!! Jackie was present for us the whole night, constantly checking in to make sure all our needs were met and we were having a good time. Jackie coordinates so well with all vendors to make the night go seamless! She completely took our stress away, and we had the most amazing wedding!\nWe can not recommend Jackie Doyle and Pawtucket Country Club enough, and are SO happy with our choice! ",

The venue was gorgeous and made for incredible photos, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing! Jackie was so helpful from the moment we met with her. "content": "I could not recommend this place more!! From the moment we saw the venue and met Jackie we knew we would be getting married there. We wanted our ceremony outdoors but with unpredictable weather we were hesitant until we saw the covered ceremony area which was perfect!! And then the ballroom was just as beautiful with the prettiest chandeliers and another covered deck area. We got so many compliments on how good the food was and how beautiful the venue was. It was an affordable option for us, because everything was customizable, from food options, hors d’oeuvres, open bar options, etc. Everything about the venue was perfect. Especially Jackie. From the moment we met her, we knew we wanted to work with her. She responded immediately to all my emails, all the time. And the day of never would have run as smoothly without her. She set everything up better than I ever could have envisioned and took everything down and put away so we didn’t have to worry about it at the end of the night and picked it all up the next morning. She made me feel so comfortable with her, never made me feel pressured about anything. And if anything went wrong you never knew it because she handled everything quietly, gracefully and kept everything running smoothly the entire day. She is the kindest, most responsible and easy going person I have ever met. We trusted her fully with the biggest day of our life and she far exceeded all expectations. I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with. Jackie really made the biggest impact on making it the best day of our lives. \n",

The owners have invested heavily in upgrades to the entire facility, but we especially loved the option to have the party poolside for our summer wedding. \n\nJackie Doyle, the Event Specialist, was invaluable with all aspects of the planning. She is so professional, organized, caring, and creative, and her attention to all levels of detail was just amazing. She is a great communicator and has such strong relationships with all the vendors that we worked with that everything flowed together effortlessly. \n\nFrom the moment we walked into the venue, it was magical. There was a beautiful champagne wall greeting the guests upon arrival, and a most spectacular charcuterie table that not only was so inviting- but a real showstopper. All the food was delicious, and the entire staff was accommodating and pleasant. \n\nMost importantly, we thoroughly were able to enjoy every moment of the most special day because literally every detail had been thought of and executed, thanks to Jackie.\n\nI cannot recommend the Pawtucket Country Club more enthusiastically!",

"content": "Pawtucket Country Club was an amazing venue for our wedding day celebration. We had our reception here (following a religious ceremony) and the day was absolutely perfect. Jackie is a fantastic coordinator and made sure everything went smoothly from planning up through execution. She was especially helpful with navigating our original postponement and getting in touch with vendors when needed. Our guests raved that it was one of the best weddings they had attended in awhile, from the cocktail hour on the patio to the delicious dinner in the ballroom and the dancing all night. I highly recommend anyone in need of a wedding venue reach out to Jackie and consider PCC!",

"content": "Jackie was so great to work with. So patient and accommodating during the entire process. She has so much experience, it eliminates the guessing. \n\nThe day of our wedding was perfect in every way. Not only what we asked for but all the things we didn’t ask or didn’t know to ask for. Her and her staff were always there making sure the day was as perfect as could be. \n\nWouldn’t refer anywhere or anyone else. Even during COVID-19 we read and heard horror stories with how couple were treated at other places but in our case, Jackie made sure we wouldn’t miss our celebration. She’s a woman of her word and we are so grateful to have had her host our wedding. \n\nThe country club is absolutely beautiful. The lighting and the ballroom were spectacular. \n\nAwesome bar tender. Very nice and taking care of our guests. \n\nThe food was delicious and plentiful. \n\nCan’t say enough good things about PCC!",

The grounds and venue are BEAUTIFUL and created the perfect scenery for our photos. The food is delicious- we got so many comments from guests about how much they liked it. Jackie and the staff are incredible and so accommodating- ensuring that every detail of our day went smoothly. The day was everything we wanted and more and so much of that has to do with the Pawtucket Country Club, Jackie, and the staff. Highly recommend!",

The food was delicious & the drinks were good! Jackie did a great job coordinating everything and dealing with everything changing due to COVID. "content": "Hands down, the best wedding coordinator and venue with Jackie and PCC. My now husband and I started venue hunting in the fall of 2019. I never invisioned our day at a country club, until we met Jackie and walked into the ballroom. I was blown away. Jackie is incredibly personable and professional. We clicked right away and I knew we had to have our wedding at PCC. We planned for October 2020, then COVID hit. Jackie helped us replan our May 2021 wedding and it was nothing short of magical. I cannot say enough good things about Jackie and her entire staff. The package was well worth it and the vendors that partner with PCC are just as incredible as the country club itself. Thank you, Jackie.",

"content": "COVID-19 bride here! Jackie from Pawtucket Country Club was amazing to work with. Our original venue stopped holding events when the pandemic started and still hasn’t fully reopened. Jackie helped us plan our minimony & dinner celebration & rescheduled our reception for a later time. She even connected us to other vendors like our DJ, photographer, & officiant. I don’t know what we would’ve done without all of her help! \n\nI, like many others, was stressing over restrictions which made planning a wedding even more difficult but I’m so glad we kept our original date! We started out with 170 guests, worked to get down to 50, & then we were limited to only 15. The day ended up being better than anything I imagined! Being able to have an intimate celebration with just our immediate families was so special! Can’t wait to have a big party with the rest of our family & friends at this beautiful venue once it’s safe to do so!",

"content": "Where to begin? From the moment we walked in the door while in search for the perfect place for our wedding, I knew within minutes this would be our venue. Jackie made Joe and I feel at ease and already made us feel at home - the beauty of the venue spoke for itself. You will not find a better coordinator than Jackie; she truly is a blessing especially since there were so many ups and downs with changes and planning due to COVID. Jackie was able to answer any and all questions, continue to put us at ease, and make sure that our wedding was all that we hoped for and more. Fast forward to the wedding, everything was smooth and seamless and went off without a hitch! We received SO many compliments from how great the food was, how beautiful it looked, how great and attentive Jackie was throughout and so much more. For us, Jackie quickly felt like a friend than just your “wedding coordinator”. Joe and I hope to be able to host other events in the future and would 110% recommend Pawtucket Country Club as the perfect venue!",

With rain in the forecast she made sure alternative plans were ready for the ceremony and cocktail hour if needed. Pre-wedding planning allowed the day to go off without one problem or issue. Banquet room is beautiful with first class decorations. We would also highly recommend Town House Flowers.",

While the venue itself offers a serene view and certainly holds a great deal of potential, my overall experience was deeply disappointing—and unfortunately, that was entirely due to the management, particularly Jackie.\n\nFrom the moment we started working with her, it became clear that professionalism and courtesy were not part of the service. Her behavior throughout the process was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. It was not only disheartening, but it also made what should have been a joyful planning experience incredibly stressful and unpleasant. Despite the beauty of the location, we will be looking elsewhere for our future events.\n\nIn fact, my immediate family has at least ten weddings coming up, and I will personally ensure that not one of them is hosted here. I will also be warning friends, colleagues, and extended family to steer clear. No one deserves to be treated the way we were—paying customers or not. I wouldn’t wish that experience on my worst enemy.\n\nTo make matters worse, it was apparent that even the staff working under Jackie felt uncomfortable. One of the team members privately apologized to me after witnessing her behavior and seemed to relate all too well, which says a lot about the internal environment. My heart goes out to the employees who have to endure this kind of treatment on a regular basis.\n\nAs someone who values professionalism, respect, and hospitality—whether in the event industry or any other field—this experience left a lasting, negative impression. If this venue hopes to continue attracting business, especially for important occasions like weddings, I strongly urge the owners to reevaluate the management. A beautiful location means nothing if it’s overshadowed by poor leadership and toxic customer interactions.\n\nUntil major changes are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere—and encouraging others to do the same."

"reviewText": "I gave one star not because of the place but...\nThe venue is very beautiful, tidy, and has great lighting. The staff were friendly and wonderful, except for their boss, Jackie. She was extremely mean and disrespectful. She treated us harshly and rudely, even though we complied with everything she asked of us. We have many upcoming events, but we will definitely not rent this venue again because of this manager and here attitude with us."
