Amanda did a wonderful job providing quick and honest details regarding availability and pricing, Maggie was responsive and extremely helpful in planning our day of, and Kay was utterly perfect as our day of coordinator. As an out-of-state bride, I was so impressed by how easy Regatta Place made the planning process and the amount of stress they took off of me the month/week/day of was incredibly helpful. I cannot recommend Regatta Place enough. The staff is so experienced, the venue is absolutely beautiful and the entire ambiance makes for a perfect wedding day. I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day, and our families were given the same attention. It goes without saying that the RP staff is incredible at what they do, and our wedding day went off without issue largely because of them.",

From the beginning working with Susanne, throughout the planning process with Maggie, and finally the wedding day and having Kaley, Chloe, and Maggie there for us, words can’t even express how special and amazing it all was. They were also so flexible with our needs, budget, and all our asks throughout the process and were so gracious with everything. Of course the venue speaks for itself and its beauty, but our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food (tuna tartar app was a HIT!), how kind the staff was, and just how easily everything flowed throughout the day. They took all the coordination for the weekend, worked smoothly with all our vendors, and set up everything we needed so when we showed up to our wedding it truly didn’t even feel like ours. We were blown away and at how beautiful and perfect it all was. It’s hard to put the trust into someone else for such a monumental day, but our wedding was well beyond our expectations due to the Regatta team. Could not recommend enough!! ",

"content": "My best friend got married this past weekend on Friday, September 19th, 2025 & I was in the bridal party. I cannot say enough good things about Regatta & the people that work there. The Event Manager, Kay, was exceptional. Not only was she professional & attentive, she was so much fun to have around and made the whole experience 10 times better than it could have been. The servers were also amazing, making sure we always had food or drinks whenever our hands were empty, I forget her name but it was a younger girl, name also beginning with a K or C, she was so sweet and great at the job. The gouda cheese on the cheese board? Out of this world. Thank you Regatta Team, you are amazing!",

"content": "The entire Regatta Place team is incredible! Our experience, from inquiring to planing/prep, to the day-of, was seamless and enjoyable. The team worked with us on our plans, many of which were unconventional, so that they all went off without a hitch. As a bride, it was important to me to truly be present and enjoy the evening. Maggie, Kay, and the entire team made that possible by having every detail (and more) covered inside and out. They worked seamlessly with the few outside vendors we had, and we did not have to sweat anything day-of.\n\nThe food throughout the evening was fabulous! We had a few guests with tricky dietary restrictions and it was no trouble at all to ensure they were set for each portion of the evening, from the bar to cocktail hour to dinner and dessert.\n\nFinally, the setting and venue itself are truly stunning. We held our ceremony and cocktail hour aboard the Schooner Aurora and the reception at Regatta Place. Sailing back to the dock to see the twinkling lights under the tent in the “blue hour” just after sunset was magical. We did almost no decor because the decor they have is beautiful on its own! Celebrating with your friends and family in the heart of Newport Harbor, surrounded by the water and beautiful boats, is magical.\n\nIf you have the chance to work with this team you should take it! We would do it all over again if we could, and highly recommend Regatta Place and all of the Newport Experience team and venues. Thank you, Maggie, Kay, and team!!",

"content": "BOOK REGATTA PLACE NOW!!!\nThis is by far the most stunning venue for the price you’ll find in all of Newport.\n\nMaggie and Kay helped make our weekend absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they made everything effortless. The day before our wedding, they helped us plan a private boat tour around Newport—one of the biggest highlights of the entire weekend.\n\nThe food was unforgettable. Think: a full lobster buffet, endless oysters, and a cocktail shrimp bar that wowed every guest.\n\nOne of the most memorable moments was how they coordinated a water taxi for us and our bridal party to leave the venue in style, waving goodbye as we cruised straight to downtown Newport. It was such a unique and fun send-off.\n\nI highly recommend hiring a great band and photographer—those two things, paired with Regatta Place’s incredible team, made our day (and entire weekend) seamless. Maggie and Kay acted as our wedding coordinators, which meant we didn’t have to worry about a single thing.\n\nThe venue itself is breathtaking, with so much natural beauty, and the layout allows guests to move around freely rather than being stuck at their tables. Our ceremony on the dock was magical—everything we hoped for and more.\n\nWe truly can’t say enough good things. If you’re considering Regatta Place, don’t wait. Book it!\n",

"content": "Regatta, Maggie, Kayley, and the whole staff deserve the highest praise! I cannot recommend Regatta Place more. The venue speaks for itself - gorgeous and uniquely located in Newport. We live here, and many of our guests also live on Aquidneck Island. Several of them commented on how cool it is to see the city from this point of view - an angle we don't really get anywhere else - and to watch the boats pass by in the harbor. It also was more than comfortable for our 150 guests. Plenty of space in the tent and on the dance floor. \nThe Regatta staff, Maggie, and Kayley were incredible to work with - both had such calming presences. \n\nMaggie was kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable from day one. As we worked with her to plan the day, she was helpful in areas we hadn't even thought of, and made sure we could add several unique and special touches to our day (even something that may seem simple - like easily just switching out a beer option to add Whaler's Rise, a beer we both love and know many of our guests love, meant so much). She was always available for questions leading up to the day, and several bridesmaids commented on how great she was at rehearsal and ceremony time - even when it was \"go time\" she was super calm and nothing felt too rushed or too \"serious\" - the exact vibe we wanted to curate! Keep the day moving, but keep things light and fun.\n\nKayley is truly an unsung heroine - everything from helping us unload and store items, to making sure we all have what we need, to making pivots as the weather changed through the day, to helping hold a bouquet or bustle my dress - she was there. Both of our families spoke so highly of her. On wedding day (and since), several guests asked if I was nervous walking down the aisle and I was not at all! Kayley waited around the corner with my parents and I and kept conversation casual -- I think if we stood there with our thoughts we all could've gotten nervous, but Kayley kept our minds occupied! It really is the little things that add up.\n\nThe whole staff is SO attentive, we were always taken care of and we really appreciated having food and drinks ready for us in the suite and getting checked on! They also took our decor and crushed it! It was so nice to not have to even think about the space - they set it up so lovely, also to know that the staff is a well-oiled machine! They know how to handle weather and were able to move some of the tables and signage around as the night went on and things stayed dry. \n\nI could go on and on!! We are so grateful and I wish we could relive our wedding at Regatta every weekend - I would 1000% recommend. ",

I always wanted a waterfront wedding and looked at many places in New England, but kept coming back to Regatta Place. Not only was it literally on the water but it was such a unique location with the most gorgeous views of the Newport Harbor and downtown. \nThe staff was absolutely amazing through the whole process. Living abroad and planning a wedding stateside was not the easiest, but Maggie was always there to answer my million emails. Kay on the day of made sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel so special. Our personal server was also amazing and made sure we were constantly fed and hydrated and would always check in with us to make sure we were enjoying the evening and that everything was going the way we liked. \nI highly recommend Regatta Place!",

"content": "Maggie, Kay, and Kayley are actual angels from above that come down to make you have the best, most magical wedding ever. \n\nRegatta Place checked all of our boxes - gorgeous venue, reasonable cost that included everything we could dream of and more (passed mini lobster rolls & espresso martinis??? say less). The location is unreal, and we got to use the Schooner Aurora that the venue also owns for a welcome sail the night before in place of a rehearsal dinner, which was amazing. The whole planning process was seamless and stress free, thanks to the experts at Regatta Place. The minute we walked in to our wedding on the day of, I immediately teared up seeing my vision from the last year of planning executed flawlessly - like even better than I could dream up. They really take care of you and care about your day being amazing!\n\nOur guests complimented the food as \"the best wedding food they've ever had\" (and we have to agree). Guests also raved about the fact that there was never a long bar line because they are so efficient and we had passed drinks & wine service with dinner as part of our drink package, and my husband and I loved how Kay & Kayley really took care of us in every way day of - taking cards up to the bridal suite, bringing us food, taking my heels when I didn't want to wear them anymore haha. \n\nWe also mainly hired vendors from Maggie & Susanna's recommended vendors lists, and they were all flawless, so that's a bonus too!! ",

From meeting Susanne almost two years ago, working the details through with Maggie and having the pleasure to work with Kay the day of, I was truly blown away. Not only is the location, views, and atmosphere stunning but the food was amazing! The seafood was so fresh and things were served warm to taste. The displays were absolutely gorgeous and guests seemed to notice nothing was left bare or unsightly. Despite the rain, the Regatta staff did everything they could to ensure it was perfect. Having several umbrellas, keeping the floors dry, and truly staying on top of every detail. We wish we could go back and relive this day. \nA special shout out to Kay, who was absolutely wonderful! One moment that stuck out to me particularly is when the bustle on my dress came off and I pulled a bridesmaid to help, Kay saw, and immediately came over to help reinforce the dress. She grabbed safety pins and was on the wet floor pinning my dress up for me. Her attentiveness and willing to help was exceptional. Emily, our personal server, was also fantastic and kept us well fed and always had a fresh drink in our hands without hesitation! I could not recommend this venue enough if you’re looking to get married in Rhode Island!",

"content": "If you are considering having you wedding at Regatta Place -- do it. It's hard to overstate how fantastic the venue and team were in making our wedding as memorable as it was. From the outset, Maggie, Kay, Amanda, and others made clear that they were invested in delivering the wedding experience that we wanted, without selling us on anything that didn't fit with our budget or plan. We had complete freedom to dress up the space we want and incorporate the elements we wanted, all in the beautiful backdrop that is Newport Harbor.\n\nIt is probably worth mentioning that, in our case, we decided to host the wedding without a planner. This was a little daunting on our end, but the Regatta team quickly demonstrated that they would be there to support every aspect of planning -- from vendor selection and coordination to catering to decorations and more, Maggie was instrumental in keeping us on schedule and helping us execute (all while continually putting us at ease). However much or little you need the Regatta team, they will be there.\n\nIn terms of the day of the wedding, Maggie, Kay, and team could not have been better. We never expected to say that our wedding day went off without a hitch -- but that's exactly what happened. The rehearsal, ceremony, and following reception all flowed seamlessly, on schedule, and without issue, and our guests repeatedly went out of their way to let us know personally how exceptional the dinner and drink service was -- including rave reviews for both the hors d'oeuvres and entrees.\n\nIn sum, go with Regatta Place. The venue is beautiful, the team is superb, and your wedding day will be everything you're hoping for. We cannot recommend it enough!",

The views, the string lights, the beautiful boats, the curtains swaying in the breeze in the ceremony tent… it’s pure magic. \n\nBut Susanne Maggie and Kay are the shining stars at Regatta Place and a huge differentiator. From Susanne touring us and showing us the amazing art of the possible, to Maggie helping us ensure every detail was accounted for during the planning process and that our dollars were maximized, to Kay being the calming presence I needed the day of… I can’t say enough about this sales and catering team! What sticks out most for me personally was - during cocktail hour my bridesmaids could not bustle my dress. I felt like I’d been standing in the bridal suite for an hour and was so sad to be missing cocktail hour… Kay appeared like a magic fairy sent to save the day and somehow bustled my dress in 2 seconds!!!! I knew this team was good. But this really blew my mind. I’m so grateful for these ladies and their entire team for making our day so perfect! \n\nOur dedicated server Kayley (spelling?) made sure we had food and bev available from the moment we walked out of our ceremony, the bartenders were speedy, dinner service was on time and amazing. Even if it’s a summer wedding: get the short rib. Just trust me. ;)\n\nA week later, our guests are still calling to tell me “THAT WAS THE BEST WEDDING WE’VE EVER BEEN TO! WOW!” which is such a good feeling to hear and I hope that makes the entire Regatta team smile because it was their hard work, experience, and kindness that made the day 10/10 perfection for everyone there! "content": "We cannot rave enough about Regatta Place. This was truly the most amazing wedding experience from beginning to end. Starting with Susanne, who helped us to fall in love with the beauty of the venue and make the choices that were right for us and our budget. Then working with Maggie, the catering director, who was just excellent. She was responsive, patient, and so kind, never making us feel rushed. But nothing compares to the magic of the wedding day itself-- WOW. We were so lucky to have Kay as our day of coordinator and Kayley as our personal server, and both of them went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. They gently checked in with us throughout the day and night to make sure we had food, drinks, and that everything was going smoothly. Kay even put my veil in for me. They took such good care of us, and their positivity, kindness, and hospitality is unmatched! It was such a magical day. It rained a little bit during the day, and we didn't even notice (that is until a rainbow came out over the sky). We can't recommend this venue enough! Every member of the staff is a gem. They really know what they're doing.",

"content": "If you want the perfect wedding venue with an incredible and hardworking staff, Regatta Place is it. We initially worked with Gayle and signed our contract. Even viewing the venue in the winter we could tell just how special Regatta Place was. Gayle gave it to us straight and never made us feel pressured. She got us in contact with our florist (Secret Garden) and our DJ Joe (Sounds Buono) About 6 months out from our day we started to work with Maggie, and there are no words to say just how amazing she is! She calmed my nerves and answered every question I had (which was a lot). Every email was quickly answered with a ton of detail, I wish I had her in my daily life! Finally, we met Kay, our event manager the day of the wedding. She was incredible!!! She made my day perfect and I am forever grateful. I can’t say enough how special this venue and its people are. I’ve received so many compliments on my wedding (especially the views and food) and it’s honestly thanks to everyone at Regatta Place. They know how to put a bride at ease and make the day so seamless. My day even started out pouring rain, and then cleared up in time for our ceremony and reception. Kay and Maggie had my back the entire time! This is the most amazing place to get married and I would recommend it to anyone!",

I cannot thank the staff enough for executing our now favorite day after 2 years of planning. \n\nLeading up to the day, Maggie was always a quick email for any random questions I had. She is responsive, always available, and a great source for vendor questions. At our final details meeting a few days before the big day, we met Kay, our event manager. She absolutely killed it! I gave her a vision board of my decor ideas and she delivered seamlessly. She helped me buckle my shoes when i accidentally ushered everyone out of the bridal suite. She made sure my husband and I sat down to eat (which we didn't think we were going to need to be reminded to do this but let me tell you.. you do!) & she made sure all of my guests (that were supposed to) made it on the bus at the end of the night. \n\nI would recommend this venue not only because of its one- of- kind dock/coastal vibes and its view of downtown Newport, but for their amazing attentive staff. They're so good at what they do! ",

"content": "Regatta Place is a one of a kind venue that provides exceptional service from start to finish! There aren’t enough words to describe how perfect our wedding was and this venue is. Our sales manager, Galen, suggested we tour Regatta and we fell in love with the beautiful seaside setting immediately, even in the middle of January! She was there after booking offering vendor suggestions and even on our wedding day offering best wishes. Maggie, the catering manager, was amazing throughout the planning process, always available answering any questions we had in a prompt manner. She guided us through our rehearsal, offering suggestions on ceremony/reception details we didn’t even think of. I was made to believe wedding planning was stressful but Maggie and her team made it so straightforward and easy! Kay our day of coordinator, has such an eye for detail, was so kind, and took the stress out of planning for the unknown of the day. Kayley was our event attendant and was so attentive the entire night taking care of myself, my husband, and our families. The entire waitstaff/valet team were incredibly friendly. All of our guests loved the incredible food (a rarity at weddings!), the kind staff, and the beautiful venue. I was shocked when she told us we could get married at this location within our budget. Maggie Kane, the GM and Director of Catering, is amazing. Firstly, she is so unbelievably kind, and I want to be her friend in real life. Secondly, she is organized and knowledgeable. Maggie's relaxed energy and expertise made everything simple and stress-free. Our day and the days leading up to it were relaxed, easy, and fun. Kayley, our Event Manager, was our go-to on the day of the wedding and supported us during the days before. She was outstanding. Our wedding party was never left without a drink or a snack, and she effortlessly kept the events flowing as we transitioned from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception and to our water taxi departure. I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue. Our guests raved about the epic backdrop and delicious food. My only complaint is that the day went by too fast!",

"content": "My husband and I had our wedding at Regatta Place this past June and I don’t have a single regret or bad thing to say about this incredible wedding venue. Everything about Regatta Place is beautiful and makes for an unforgettable backdrop on your big day. But what really made this venue stand out to me was the staff. We originally worked with Susanne Day who toured us around the venue the day after a huge snowstorm. Even trudging through knee high snow drifts on the docks, I knew how beautiful this place would be on a sunny summer afternoon. Susanne was incredible to work with. As a budget conscious couple, the thing we appreciated more than anything was a complete breakdown of the cost of the wedding, including all the typically hidden fees like tax and gratuity. Good luck finding that transparency at another venue – I sure didn’t! She even walked us through all the places we could save a little money and worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted in our budget. I’m still impressed that the final cost of our wedding was almost spot on with our initial estimate from Susanne. She also knows everything there is to know about Newport and had great suggestions to keep our guests happy for the whole weekend. We then worked with our day of planner, Maggie Kane. I truly don’t have enough amazing things to say about Maggie. Her professionalism and organization made the planning process incredibly easy, and her positive attitude was calming and reassuring to a very stressed-out bride. She is the absolute best at what she does, and I’m beyond grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her. Kay was our event manager and, with help from the incredible waitstaff, she made the whole day go smoothly. I’ve never seen someone work so hard in my life. She checked in with us no less than a hundred times to make sure we were eating and had drinks. But what really impressed me was all the behind-the-scenes stuff she took care of. I thought my favors would just get put out on a table with my seating chart. Nope – Kay used their own décor to make the whole display look beautiful. From the bottom of my heart – thank you Regatta Place for the absolute best experience. And if you’re reading this and have made it this far in this review – HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!! ",

"content": "I had my wedding at Regatta Place on 9/28/23. It was the most perfect day at the most perfect venue. Regatta Place is an absolutely gorgeous waterfront setting to have a wedding and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you and your husband or wife to be have the most amazing day. Even throughout the entire planning process the staff was helpful and responsive. Whenever I would have questions or ideas all I would have to do is send a quick email and within a day I would receive a response. I feel as though I had a nearly stress free wedding planning experience and that was largely in part due to all the help and advice I received from the staff at Regatta Place. \n\nAs for the actual wedding day my husband and I were assigned a personal severe to attend to our drink and food needs. I found this to be a huge perk. I have heard from so many friends who got married before I did that the bride and groom ever get to eat at their wedding because they are always too busy going around to guests and thanking them for coming. While my husband and I were very busy thanking our guests our server made sure we always had a drink or hors d’oeuvre in hand which was fabulous. Not to mention immediately after the ceremony our personal server was waiting for us at the end of isle with our drink of choice. I don’t remember our personal servers name but she was so sweet and beyond attentive.\n\nNot only were we well cared for as the bride and groom but our guests were well cared for as well. It’s been three months since our wedding and friends and family still tell me how much fun they had and how much they loved Regatta Place. \n\nI highly recommend this venue for brides and grooms to be. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t change a single thing about my wedding. It was perfect. I would like to give a special thanks to Maggie and Kay for making for bringing the vision of my wedding day to life and making everything run so smoothly the day of the wedding. \n\n\n",

The Regatta team was incredibly helpful, responsive, and creative during our entire planning process, and we always felt like we were in great hands. They always provided thoughtful, detailed responses to our questions and they went above-and-beyond to help us create an experience that was unique to us. Even when it rained, Regatta had a great backup plan in place — and we and our guests were still able to enjoy the beautiful dockside and waterfront aspects of the venue. The service throughout our reception was incredible – and our guests raved about how friendly and attentive the Regatta team was. We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding and we are so grateful to Susanne, Maggie, Kay and the whole Regatta team for helping to make everything so lovely! 10/10 we’d work with Regatta again, and recommend them to a friend!",

"content": "Regatta Place was our dream venue. Getting married on the water was extremely important to me and my partner, so having the ceremony and reception on a dock was absolutely incredible. The ceremony area flows right into the cocktail hour area, and then right into the reception, making for a seamless guest experience. And while the location and amenities are of the highest caliber, that's actually only half of what makes Regatta Place so special. The staff, Maggie especially, are the kindest and hardest working event team I have ever encountered. Not only are they professionals in every sense of the word, but they are genuinely excited to make your vision come to life. They worked tirelessly with us to make sure every detail was accounted for and then made it all happen. If you're nervous about it raining, this venue is still perfect! We thought up until an hour before the ceremony that it would rain, and while it didn't, I felt confident that everything would be taken care of by the Regatta Place team if it had, which meant we didn't have to worry about it at all!",

"content": "This review is written by the MOB. \nRegatta Place is a unique and gorgeous wedding venue. And ALL of its staff -- and I mean every single person -- is EXCEPTIONAL. If you are looking for a Newport wedding that is both unique and quintessentially Newport (that serves delicious food) look no further. Planning a destination wedding can be a daunting task but with Maggie and Kay on your team, you can sit back and not worry about one detail. They are an extraordinary duo. No detail was missed. Our guests were so impressed at how seamlessly everything came together. And throughout the cocktail hour and reception every staff member was lovely and on point. Some of the comments we received from various guests are :\n\"Best wedding I have ever been to.\"\n\"The service was impeccable.\" (we heard this one a lot)\n\"We could not believe how delicious the food was.\"\n\nIf I have the opportunity in the future, I will host another event at Regatta Place. They were so great this ended up being the one venue I viewed!! I booked it right after. \n\nThroughout the planning the staff there was always willing to answer me or my mothers multiple calls. They offered advice and were very knowledgeable about everything weddings.\n\nThe day of I did not have to worry about a THING! Everything was taken care of by the staff with such care and effort. My day was better than I ever could of imagined. They even packed up all of the decor we brought for us so we could enjoy the night without worrying about the stress of gathering our decor. They made this day so special for me and I am forever grateful!!!! ",

Kay (the day of coordinator) checked in on me multiple times to be sure I was happy throughout the night which was so nice and made me feel at ease. Maggie was also amazing throughout the whole planning process. She made it fun and stress-free and paid attention to every detail! The location, food, drinks and ambiance was exactly what we wanted and just so beautiful! Our wedding guests also agreed. "content": "Regatta place is an absolute fabulous venue with staff who exceed all expectations. We were a destination wedding and needed a team to handle all details for us as we really didn’t have the capability to fly out to RI multiple times during the planning process. Kay the banquet manager/director and Maggie the catering manager/director took care of every tiny detail. We had some specific requests(slight menu changes, swapping out alcohol preferences, etc.) and the team at Regatta didn’t miss a single thing! I DIY-ed my flowers and needed someone to set up the centerpieces and ceremony flowers for me, I had hair/makeup on the morning of the wedding, Kay ensured my vision came to life setting up the bud vases, table runners and ceremony pieces. Kay bustled my dress, coordinated everything with our vendors and was so kid and friendly the entire day. Leading up to the day of the wedding Maggie tracked every detail and maintained constant quick communication with us, answering all of our questions clearly and concisely. On the day of the wedding Kayley our personal server was so friendly and quick, we never had an empty drink or plate. Although we didn’t meet this team I want to shout out the grounds/facilities team who keep Regatta looking so beautiful. We literally had zero complaints about our day! ",

After touring several venues, we knew right away that Regatta was the place for us! We first met with Susanne who was so communicative. Even after booking the venue, she continued answering all sorts of questions we emailed her about. She also sent us a really nice text in the days leading up to our wedding to wish us a happy wedding week! As our wedding day got closer, we worked with Maggie and on our wedding day we worked with Kay. Both Maggie and Kay had super calm demeanors and made sure every detail was taken care of. Kay made sure that we constantly had everything we needed throughout our wedding day reception! We absolutely loved Regatta Place and would highly recommend it to anyone! ",

"content": "Regatta place was not only wonderful to work with during the wedding planning process, but also made us feel like a king and queen on our wedding day! They were so attentive and made us feel so special. Susanne and Maggie were both very communicative throughout our 22 month engagement and helped us so much with all of our questions. On the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch, and Regatta worked wonderfully alongside our other vendors. We received so many compliments from friends and family on how beautiful the venue was. It even ended up raining on our wedding day, and the venue looked perfect regardless! Maggie was the best of the best, I felt like I had hired a wedding coordinator with her by our side through the whole process. She truly planned out every little detail and calmed all my nerves and anxiety for the big day. The catering was also amazing and we loved every appetizer we tried and entrees for meal picks. It is hard to decide which was more incredible: the ambiance/ stunning waterside view or the delectable food, especially the \"Chef's Choice\" mini dessert platters.\n\nThe service was outstanding, with the on-site managers, servers, and bartender all being highly attentive.\n\nIt proved to be the perfect location to kick off our group's week together. I encourage other corporate planners coming to Newport to book here. While Regatta Place might be renowned for hosting weddings, I can attest that they also provide a wonderful corporate dining experience. You will not regret booking this space!"

Regatta place is the most unique, beautiful, and special venue ever! The sailboats passing by all night and the gorgeous view of Newport was so special. But what truly made our wedding unforgettable was the amazing team that made it all come together!!!\n\nMaggie, you were our rock from day one. Planning a wedding long distance was overwhelming, but you made it so much easier. You answered all our questions, gave us the best advice, and helped us nail down every little detail. We honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without you! You went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we can’t thank you enough for all the time and care you put into our day.\n\nThen, on our wedding day, Kay made the day so effortless and perfect! She set up all of our decor so perfectly! She made sure everything went off without a hitch, even anticipating things before we had to ask. Whether it was adjusting the timeline or giving us space to catch our breath, Kay made us feel completely taken care of. We honestly never had to worry about a single thing… she was on top of every detail, and we were able to just enjoy our day because of her. Her calm and collected attitude helped us enjoy every moment!!\n\nKayley kept my husband and I happy and hydrated all night! The drinks were always flowing and she made sure we had something to eat. It was clear she truly cared about making sure my husband and I had a great time. But most of my praise is reserved for the staff.\n\nBooking with Amanda and having all the information was a breeze and she was super helpful. (I am from South Carolina so I needed a lot of help being far away) She helped me tour it over face time since I am out of state and assured me of my reservations.\n\nThen I was in correspondence with Maggie for the majority of the time planning. She is FABULOUS. so accommodating, so helpful, so thorough and on top of everything that I quite literally had NOTHING to worry about not being in the state of RI. She is super kind and responsive and made my day (not to sound cliche) but the best day of my life. I could go on and on, but she's fantastic.\n\nOn the day of, Kay was the coordinator. SHE IS FANTASTIC. She helped me pin my dress up about 200 times since the bustle kept breaking. She was so on time with everything kept everything running smoothly and is just amazing. She made me and my family feel super comfortable and special on such an important day. Mikayla helped dote on us with whatever we needed & I cannot say enough about this team they have at Regatta Place. It's a well oiled machine and worth every penny. I had so many people come up to my mother and I and tell us how that was the best wedding they've ever been to and I am still getting praise weeks after the most magical day. "reviewText": "The entire Regatta Place team is incredible! Our experience, from inquiring to planing/prep, to the day-of, was seamless and enjoyable. The team worked with us on our plans, many of which were unconventional, so that they all went off without a hitch. As a bride, it was important to me to truly be present and enjoy the evening. Maggie, Kay, and the entire team made that possible by having every detail (and more) covered inside and out. They worked seamlessly with the few outside vendors we had, and we did not have to sweat anything day-of.\n\nThe food throughout the evening was fabulous! We had a few guests with tricky dietary restrictions and it was no trouble at all to ensure they were set for each portion of the evening, from the bar to cocktail hour to dinner and dessert.\n\nFinally, the setting and venue itself are truly stunning. We held our ceremony and cocktail hour aboard the Schooner Aurora and the reception at Regatta Place. Sailing back to the dock to see the twinkling lights under the tent in the “blue hour” just after sunset was magical. We did almost no decor because the decor they have is beautiful on its own! Celebrating with your friends and family in the heart of Newport Harbor, surrounded by the water and beautiful boats, is magical.\n\nIf you have the chance to work with this team you should take it! We would do it all over again if we could, and highly recommend Regatta Place and all of the Newport Experience team and venues. Thank you, Maggie, Kay, and team!!"

"reviewText": "BOOK REGATTA PLACE NOW!!! This is by far the most stunning venue for the price you’ll find in all of Newport. Maggie and Kay helped make our weekend absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they made everything effortless. The day before our wedding, they helped us plan a private boat tour around Newport—one of the biggest highlights of the entire weekend. The food was unforgettable. Think: a full lobster buffet, endless oysters, and a cocktail shrimp bar that wowed every guest. One of the most memorable moments was how they coordinated a water taxi for us and our bridal party to leave the venue in style, waving goodbye as we cruised straight to downtown Newport. It was such a unique and fun send-off. I highly recommend hiring a great band and photographer—those two things, paired with Regatta Place’s incredible team, made our day (and entire weekend) seamless. Maggie and Kay acted as our wedding coordinators, which meant we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The venue itself is breathtaking, with so much natural beauty, and the layout allows guests to move around freely rather than being stuck at their tables. Our ceremony on the dock was magical—everything we hoped for and more. We truly can’t say enough good things. If you’re considering Regatta Place, don’t wait. Book it!"
