We started with our ceremony in the beautiful outdoor space, followed by an amazing cocktail hour, and then moved into the reception barn. They are a well-oiled machine, and our coordinator, Jocelyn, and her team were simply incredible. We were assigned Kate as our event coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better person to make sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Kate’s ability to pivot when things don’t go as planned is incredible and she makes everything look like it is going exactly as planned. She is kind, patient, caring and an all around amazing person and event coordinator! The Barn itself is an absolutely beautiful venue and not only were my husband and I in awe, but so were our guests. Not only was Kate amazing, but so were all the staff at The Barn. Everyone works as a team there and does the best they can to make sure your wedding day is magical. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue that will treat you right and make sure your wedding day is a day you will remember for the rest of your life, then I highly recommend you booking The Barn at Blackstone National for your wedding! ",

She responded quickly to our emails, gave us her honest opinions, and we went into the day without a worry in the world. The staff was kind, fun, and never skipped a beat. Before we could even ask a question Alyson was on it! The food was absolutely amazing (woman ran kitchen!) and the attention to detail was spectacular. At the end of the night, Alyson had everything packed up and ready for us to grab the following morning.         "content": "We had an amazing experience with the Barn at Blackstone National! Kate was our coordinator, and she was super helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was quick to answer any questions we had and very detailed in her responses. She was also understanding and flexible with changes we needed to make leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, the barn team did an incredible job setting up all of our decor exactly the way I had envisioned it and working seamlessly with all of our vendors. I had a private reveal before everyone else arrived, and it was truly everything I could have asked for! We also received many compliments on the food, and the barn team was very prompt with every part of our timeline, including serving dinner. The venue was the perfect size for a 100 person wedding, with two bars and plenty of space to spread out both indoors and outdoors, so there was never a long line to get a drink. Kate also included multiple little touches that didn't go unnoticed, like making us a plate of hors d'oeuvres (we didn't get a chance to have any during cocktail hour), driving us around in a golf cart to take photos, and bringing a towel for my lap to protect my dress from my flowers during the ride. She even gave my 10-year old stepson some extra chocolate chip cookies, as that was a big part of the wedding that he was looking forward to. Lastly, my bridesmaids and I loved getting ready in the Putnam room, and our hair & makeup artist said she'd rate the space an 11/10. There was so much room for the bridal party to get ready, tons of natural light, and we could even go outside on the patio to take pictures. Everyone at the barn made the day really special and memorable. We had the best day ever and would highly recommend the barn to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue!!",

The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the day ran smooth because of everyone's expertise and flexibility. Kate and everyone else at the barn were nothing but kind, patient, helpful, and truly wonderful. Kate was not only a phenomenal day of coordinator but was available for any questions and several VERY helpful meetings leading up to the day. The weather on our day was definitely chaotic and the staff at the barn did everything in their power to help us have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. We had an amazing experience working with their team ever since booking our date 2 years ago. Our coordinator was Kate and we could not have picked a better person to help us plan our dream wedding. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and responsive to any and all emails we sent. Kate helped ensure that our wedding vision came to life and that the day went so smoothly. Her and the team were amazing on our wedding day - they took care of every detail and we did not have to worry about a thing!\n     The barn itself is gorgeous - the second you walk in, the wood interior, high ceilings, and chandeliers take your breath away. The well maintained golf course that surrounds it complements its rustic beauty. Multiple times we had guests come up to us saying how beautiful the venue was, that the food was amazing, and that they were having a great time. We are so happy that we decided to have our big day at the barn and would highly recommend it to any couples looking for a gorgeous venue with incredible staff.",

        "content": "I truly can't say enough positive things about The Barn at Blackstone National! \nFrom the barn itself, the food, the staff, the grounds, everything exceeded our expectations.\nWe got married on November 9th and Jocelyn was our coordinator. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on our day and let us enjoy every moment without worrying about the little things. She answered every email/text (there were a lot lol) leading up to our wedding and never made me feel like I was bothering her. This was the same for all of the staff we encountered. You can tell they genuinely care about the couples that book at The Barn. \nAll of our decor was beautifully placed by the staff exactly how and where I wanted it. They brought my Pinterest board to life.\nThe food was served quickly and was delicious! We still have people mentioning how good it was. They made sure all of our guests with allergies had meals made for them catered to their different needs which was really comforting to know.\nOur pictures came out amazing with the most beautiful background no matter where on the property we were.\nIf you're thinking about booking you're thinking about booking your wedding here, do it!         "content": "9.1.24 Wedding\n\nWe honestly don’t have enough words or even can find the correct ones to share how PERFECT and incredible this venue is and the team at the barn is! Our wedding we can say truly was a dream come true and we feel so blessed! The wedding venue is absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with it more and more from our first visit to our wedding day! Truly something different than the norm and it does just feel magical -the outside and then when the lights hit as you enter the barn! The outside is incredible with the green grass hills from the golf course, to the newly built pavillion, and all of the secret gem places to take pictures with the photographer -the bridge at sunset, beautiful pond, beautiful wild flowers creating the most beautiful pictures ! The inside becomes so dreamy with the not only the newness and upkeep of the barn but the chandeliers and twinkle lights with as many add ons to choose from -the drapes and little decoration touches the barn can provide make it magical! We are serious when we say our guests kept coming up to us saying how beautiful this wedding was! They were torn to hit the dance floor or hang in the pavillion on our beautiful day :)\n\nThe team at the barn as well could not have been better -everyone there from initial contact to the very end couldn’t have been more professional, highly and quickly responsive and communicative, experienced, and kind! Every question went answered and truly every request was made -even until the last minute changes the night before wedding day! Thank you to the Barn Team -a huge shout out to all of the management team, our servers, bartenders, setting up and clean up team-Rebecca on that team thank you for helping us make our vision of the floor plan and changing tables last minute -your hardwork did not go unnoticed as well as your professionalism, kindness, and true care ! Last but certainly not least as she was the GLUE to our wedding, our wedding coordinator Lauren Duquette! She truly is the diamond and asset at the Barn she was the perfect fit for us!         "content": "We got married a week ago at The Barn and we have nothing but amazing things to say. Our ceremony and reception took place at The Barn and the transition between the two were so smooth. Kate was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond helping us with even the finest details of our special day. My mind was all over the place while planning and she really helped make our wedding a dream come true. She was accommodating to any changes that were made along the way and when my photographer cancelled last minute she generously offered to reach out to their list of preferred vendors which was so much appreciated. I am a very “to myself person” especially around those I don’t know and Kate never once made me feel anxious or uncomfortable, she honestly made me feel like we’d been friends forever. The food was amazing and so filling. The guests raved to us about how good the food was and the friendly environment. If there were dietary restrictions there were plenty of ways to work around that to accommodate the guests.  The staff were professional and polite during the entire process and even when a glass was broken on the dance floor Kate quickly made sure guests were safe, while enjoying a little dance, and cleaned up quickly. I honestly could go on forever with how amazing of a night we had. I honestly have not one bad thing to say, everything looked beautiful and went according to plan. And, if for whatever reason something “didn’t go right”, I didn’t even notice because how well the staff did at making it the most perfect day. I am forever thankful for the staff at The Barn. ♥️",

Everything was on time and well executed. They were accommodating and they did an amazing job setting up all of our decor. We rented fake flowers and they set up the arbor for us and everything! Also, all of our guests were raving about the food and efficiency of dinner service! Perfect photo locations and so nice to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one place. Everyone was complimenting it and had the best night. We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to this amazing team!! ",

        "content": "The Barn at Blackstone National made our special day absolutely perfect , and we still cannot stop talking about it.  From start to finish we were over the moon.  It happened to be the one and only venue we looked at because right off the bat we knew it was perfect for us.  We met with Kate initially, but due to schedule Jocelyn ended up taking over and was our day of coordinator. She was an absolute rockstar.  At each of our meetings she answered all and any of our questions.  She made sure we double checked everything not leaving out a single detail.  Jocelyn made the entire process extremely stress free. Day of wedding - we never had to think of a thing.  The team had it covered.  It ended up crazy thunderstorming 10 minutes before our ceremony so we had to pivot and get married inside the barn.  The team made sure all our guests were walked inside with umbrellas and seated appropriately.  Jocelyn kept all of us under control and we remained happy as ever.  It turned out absolutely perfect.  The sun ended up coming out during cocktail hour so we could utilize outdoors for pictures and for our guests to mingle.  To this day everyone still keeps commenting on how amazing the food was, and how seemless the night moved.  If we could relive this day over, we would do it 100x over.  I recommend any future couple to check this place out.  You will not be disappointed! Thank you so much team!!!! ",

This venue is an absolute gem—what we loved about it most was our ability to fall in love with it by itself, simply stunning even with no decor. The ambiance was both elegant and rustic, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. One of the standout highlights was the food. It was nothing short of amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food. It was presented beautifully, too! Also- the Barn has the BEST chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever taste and I recommend trying them regardless of what you do for your wedding dessert. \n\nWhat truly made our day so seamless and stress-free was our incredible wedding coordinator, Kate (Kate the great or the GOAT as well called her). From start to finish, Kate was phenomenal. Her organizational skills were impeccable, and she paid meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. Kate's personable nature and deep knowledge of wedding planning made us feel completely at ease. She was patient and responsive, always ready to address any questions or concerns we had. On the wedding day, she conducted everything flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy every moment with confidence and comfort. We truly are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with everyone at the Barn, but especially Kate. \n\nIf you're considering The Barn At Blackstone National for your wedding, and especially if you have the chance to work with Kate, you’re in for a truly exceptional experience. When we toured the venue, it was not set up for an event and even with it's bare bones we loved it. The outside space with the addition of the pergola was perfect for our cocktail hour, as well as a space for guests to gather outside and mingle when they needed some fresh air from dancing! The guests could NOT stop raving about the food, and you MUST add their homemade chocolate chip cookies to your desert options! We opted for the duo plate which is a fixed meal including two 4oz proteins rather than having your guests pick their own, which made my life so much easier when collecting RSVPs - so smart! Lauren was absolutely incredible as our day-of coordinator. She provided a ton of recommendations and support leading up to the day as well. Day of, she had a smile on the entire time and was professional, attentive, and kept the timeline moving perfectly. They absolutely exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend the Barn for anyone looking to get married in the central MA area! ",

        "content": "My wife and I cannot say enough good things about The Barn at Blackstone National. The scenery is breathtaking and the barn has lovely charm to it. The food is excellent too--it exceeded our expectations.\n\nIf there is anything that clearly sets The Barn above other venues, it is their staff. We cannot say enough good things about Kate and her team. Julia did a wonderful job giving us an overview of the venue when we decided to book. The chef is incredibly accommodating and presents a fantastic menu that our guests were obsessed with. Kate and Jocelyn managed the moving parts of our wedding with ease. They were attentive to detail, quick to get back to us, and incredibly easy to work with. Kate actively checked in with us throughout our wedding day and struck the perfect balance of authoritative leadership. Even when the town of Sutton lost power (in a fluke situation), her team continued to manage the night without a slip-up. \n\nWhat is most comforting to me is how our vendors were so complimentary of Kate and her team. Our florist said she has never worked with a venue so accommodating and polite. Our DJ (who helped during the power outage) worked seamlessly with Kate when we needed them most.\n\nI cannot recommend The Barn enough. Book your wedding here!",

Everything from the the modern barn, the views, the food, and especially the staff, really impressed us and our loved ones.\n\nWe were also very happy with the experience leading up to the big day. Our coordinator was attentive, quick to respond, and was willing to work around our needs.\n\nI also have to give a big shoutout to the kitchen staff who gracefully aced our big request-  a 100% vegan-based meal for all our guests. The appetizers were a crowd pleaser, and everyone loved the pasta and ratatouille. We only hope those become an option on their official menu after seeing how many people devoured the food. :)\n\nThe value of what we paid and got out of it was also a huge plus. My fiancé and I were on a more modest budget compared to the average couple in 2024, and we thought we paid a fair price. We wish we could relive the entire experience again!!",

They were wonderful through the whole process and so prompt to respond and have great attention to detail. They constantly made sure we had everything we needed all day and that we got to try all our wonderful food. Our guests raved about the venue space and the food. We have 79 guests which was a great amount of a nice intimate celebration. Our only regret is how quick the day went by. Highly recommend this venue and their fabulous team. ",

        "content": "This venue is absolutely incredibly. I highly recommend them for any event you are looking to host. We most recently had our wedding there this December and it was gorgeous. The barn itself is already stunning it hardly needed additional decor. Even though it was December we had our ceremony outside and it was the most gorgeous day. They just recently built an outdoor pavilion that was perfect for our ceremony. Not only is the venue gorgeous but the staff is outstanding as well. When you book this venue you are getting 5 star service. Kate is who we worked with majority of the time and she helped us with absolutely everything. Not only did she care about how the venue looked the vendors etc but she also cared about us and made sure we took moments for ourselves on the very busy day. But it wasn’t just Kate who was incredible it was every single one of the barn staff members from the bar, the serving staff, to the chef in the kitchen. This food was absolutely amazing I am still talking about it with family members. Without a doubt I would highly recommend this venue and we hope to use them for events to come! ",

Every single person on the staff that were there for our wedding day were amazing. Kate our wedding coordinator was INCREDIBLE, I cannot thank her enough for all of her help. Tara our day-of coordinator was also amazing. Both of these ladies were there every step of the way which made the entire planning process easier. \n This venue is amazing, it smells like fresh wood and gives such a cozy feel with all the warm colored lighting. The food was delicious, I had multiple guests tell me how amazing the food was the day of. Also the scenery was so beautiful, there was hills of trees behind us when we said I do, and it was perfect. \nEverything was so perfect the day of and i could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day. I would not have changed a single thing. ",

Their staff were amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Kate always answered questions and addressed concerns in a timely manner and was never absent during the process. If we seemed lost or confused with what needed to be done, she would break it down for us so there was no panicking! Kate and Lauren did an incredible job the day of the wedding, keeping things on track, making sure my husband and myself were staying hydrated and fed as well as making sure everything went flawlessly (as you know it can be a little nerve wracking!). She was willing to meet a few times before the wedding to ensure all of our visions for the wedding came through. Never mind her very prompt responses to my many questions leading up to the wedding. We traveled all over New England to check out multiple venues for our wedding, and from the first moment we walked into that beautiful space, the Barn venue and staff blew them all away.  (Did you know some other barn venues don’t even offer indoor plumbing for your guests?!)\n\nKate was so patient and attentive and flexible.  I have health issues and required special accommodations, and even at the tasting, Kate worked with the chef and went the extra mile to ensure my every need was met.  \nOn the day of our wedding, Kate was prepared with contingencies for EVERY concern.  This gem of a woman literally ripped off her jacket to shield us when an unexpected storm popped up during our private vows!  \n\nWe planned and prepped for months, and we still NEEDED someone like Kate to guide things along and execute the vision and hopes we had. \nShe was so kind and supportive. Everyone should have someone like Kate to share their  special day!  \n\nOur guests are still commenting on the beautiful space and the incredible food!  \nWe are so grateful we chose the Barn!  ",

        "content": "- We got married at The Barn at Blackstone National in Sutton, MA. It was just perfect. A rustic yet elegant barn setting among a beautiful golf course. The fresh wood, lights and drapery was just the perfect touch. Victoria, who was our event coordinator went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am very detail oriented, organized and had a set vision in my mind and Victoria and her team made it come to life!!! It looked like it was taken straight off my Pinterest board! Every single detail was just right, and the food was so yummy, too! The whole team from start to finish was very attentive and always there if you needed something, although you rarely did because they were so on top of it! From the very start with working with Victoria, she was very thorough and kept in constant communication with me regarding every single detail. I made a whole binder of details and set-ups and sent weekly emails and she didn’t even question it! She took it and made it happen and we could not be happier that we had Victoria! The whole team was amazing, and the venue was simply breath taking! ",

        "content": "The Barn at Blackstone National was everything we thought it would be - beautiful, rustic, modern, and a great venue overall. I like to ask a lot of questions, and they answered all of them. The planning phase was smooth and well thought through. As we approached our wedding date, they continued excellent communication and were fast to respond to anything I sent. For the day of, it was beautiful and ran very smoothly. They set up all of our decor just as I had planned. They kept everyone on track and where they needed to be. The food was terrific. We opted for the brisket, and it was absolutely worth it. I still hear from guests about how good the food was! Tara was our day of coordinator and was always there for us when we needed her, often showing up before we even knew we needed her! Anytime there was a question, she brought it to our attention and worked seamlessly with our photographer and DJ. ",

        "reviewText": "We had an amazing experience with the Barn at Blackstone National! Kate was our coordinator, and she was super helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was quick to answer any questions we had and very detailed in her responses. She was also understanding and flexible with changes we needed to make leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, the barn team did an incredible job setting up all of our decor exactly the way I had envisioned it and working seamlessly with all of our vendors. I had a private reveal before everyone else arrived, and it was truly everything I could have asked for! We also received many compliments on the food, and the barn team was very prompt with every part of our timeline, including serving dinner. The venue was the perfect size for a 100 person wedding, with two bars and plenty of space to spread out both indoors and outdoors, so there was never a long line to get a drink. Kate also included multiple little touches that didn't go unnoticed, like making us a plate of hors d'oeuvres (we didn't get a chance to have any during cocktail hour), driving us around in a golf cart to take photos, and bringing a towel for my lap to protect my dress from my flowers during the ride. She even gave my 10-year old stepson some extra chocolate chip cookies, as that was a big part of the wedding that he was looking forward to. Lastly, my bridesmaids and I loved getting ready in the Putnam room, and our hair & makeup artist said she'd rate the space an 11/10. There was so much room for the bridal party to get ready, tons of natural light, and we could even go outside on the patio to take pictures. Everyone at the barn made the day really special and memorable. We had the best day ever and would highly recommend the barn to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue!!"

Kate is the wedding coordinator and she was outstanding, we had the best time with her through our experience. The venue is so beautiful, we barely had any decor because the barn speaks for itself.
