The stunning view (summer ocean wedding!!) and the staff are so professional, they helped us save a lot of money too by giving wonderful advice. They are always responsive and helpful, every coordinator we met is lovely (Sami, Claire, Allison, Rachel). Super grateful that they are accommodative & understanding to our almost last-minute schedule tweaks. The food is delicious and we get a grant tasting to pick out our favorites. Their wedding portal also saved us a lot of work on the planning. Would heartfully recommend every couple to go to the Oceanview of Nahant. <3",

"content": "Look no further - this is the place! From the moment we started touring wedding venues, we fell in love with the Oceanview of Nahant. We started looking back in February and March of 2024. When we first visited, we met Allison. She was so professional and made us feel so welcomed immediately. We knew we had to get married here and decided on October 17, 2025. Throughout those months leading up to the wedding, Oceanview kept us regularly updated with helpful tips. In December, we got to experience their Grand Tasting Event which was a great preview of their delicious food and drink options. We got matched to Claire as our coordinator. She was so great to work with, quick to answer any questions that came up and so accommodating! We also so appreciated her recommendations for transportation, especially when our initial vendor fell through - one of Claire’s recs was able to supply us with transportation at the last minute! All of the vendors recommended by Oceanview were incredible - we worked with Chris from 26 North Studios and Erica at Blooms of Boston, we would highly recommend both. We also loved our DJ, Peter from NuImage Entertainment - again, highly recommend! The wedding itself was a dream come true. We felt supported every step of the way and truly had nothing to worry about. Claire and Ralph were our day-of coordinators and ensured everything ran smoothly. We truly got to enjoy our day. Everyone who works here is a professional and will make sure you feel well taken care of. We both said over and over how it was the best day ever. I wish we could relive it again and again. Our guests were equally impressed by the venue - between the absolutely breathtaking beach terrace where we had our ceremony, to the stunning ballroom inside, to the back patio where we had our last dance - every inch here is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. I hope I get to come back to this venue as a guest because it is truly the best place to get married - and we’ve been to a LOT of weddings!",

"content": "Oceanview of Nahant — a ceremony view straight out of a movie\n\nWe chose Oceanview of Nahant because the ceremony spot literally took our breath away. Standing on the bluff with the ocean stretching behind us felt cinematic—so many friends and family told us it looked “just like a movie.” It’s romantic in a way that stays with you long after the day ends.\n\nWhy we picked this venue (beyond the view):\nWhen we were venue shopping, we learned a quick Boston reality check: if you want an easy-to-reach location downtown (not necessarily with a view), packages often start around $40k for food and beverage and can go way up from there. It felt like no matter what budget you have, the venue alone could swallow half of it. In that context, Oceanview of Nahant offered a compelling value for its location and that spectacular oceanfront backdrop. It gave us the setting we dreamed of without the “no ceiling” downtown price tag.\n\nPlanning experience (I did it myself!):\nI planned our wedding on my own, so the vendors I chose mattered a lot. Oceanview of Nahant made the process feel manageable and—dare I say—enjoyable. Any time I had a question, I emailed our coordinator and got quick, clear, and professional replies. Communication was consistent, expectations were set, and I always felt like they were one step ahead.\n\nDay-of support:\nOn the wedding day, we had two coordinators assigned to us. They kept us on schedule, checked in at the right moments, and quietly handled the details so everything ran smoothly. Because of them, we actually got to be present—laugh, cry, soak in that view—and not worry about logistics.\n\nBottom line:\nIf you’re dreaming of an oceanfront ceremony close to Boston—and you want responsive, professional support throughout planning—Oceanview of Nahant is an easy recommendation. I’d choose it again in a heartbeat. Our photos are stunning, our guests are still talking about the view, and the whole experience felt seamless from start to finish.",

Their organization and attention to detail made the day flow perfectly, and we never had to worry about a thing.\n\nThe food and drinks were outstanding, and we heard so many compliments from our guests. "content": "We got married at the Oceanview venue this July 2025. It is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue with gorgeous views and decor. Overall, everything ran smoothly and our wedding was a dream. The food was great, staff attentive, and all of the add-on options are incredible. We added on the Firepit Finale at the end and it was such a great decision. The wedding planning portal and built-in check in schedule with event coordinators were incredibly helpful in the planning process. The only blemish on a near perfect experience was the many changes in event coordinators we worked with. We began with one assigned to us, switched to another a month or so before the wedding whom we had our final meeting with and went over all of our plans, but then had one whom we had never met before run our rehearsal, and then we had a completely different coordinator that we had not met before on our actual wedding day. This did cause some slight stress/ anxiety as the wedding day approached. We feel this aspect could have been communicated to us more clearly throughout the process so our expectations on the day were aligned. That said, the coordinators did do an awesome job on the day. We would highly recommend this venue to others. ",

"content": "We just had the wedding of our dreams at Oceanview of Nahant and we recommend anyone considering getting married in the Boston area to run to this venue! We toured many venues in the greater Boston area and NONE of them came even close to the excellence of the Oceanview of Nahant. Here are the things we loved most:\n\n- The Beauty - You just cannot beat a back-drop like the ocean, and Oceanview has it in spades. The options for photography, including the ocean and the nearby greenery at Bailey Hill and Kelley Greens golf course is plentiful. This place is a photographer's dream.\n- The Customer Service - From our first visit all the way to our wedding day, the level of customer service we experienced is unlike any other. We worked with Allison and Claire throughout the process and both were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and had immense attention to detail. We once sent Claire an email with 15+ questions and she responded an hour later with answers to all of them. We cannot say enough great things about the staff. They are kind, smart, and skilled. \n- The Options - There are so many options to customize your day, depending on what you want. We took advantage of the Firepit Finale (which offers an after-party on the pebble beach, with s'mores and corn hole) and it was an amazing way to cap off our evening. We also had the ice cream sundae/milkshake bar, and our guests raved about it! \n\nWe cannot recommend this venue enough and we will always remember the huge role Oceanview of Nahant played in our love story. Thank you to this unbelievable team of people — you exceeded our expectations in every single way!\n",

"content": "My husband and I were married at Oceanview on July 26th, 2025, and while we wholeheartedly loved many aspects of our wedding day, we also encountered some significant organizational challenges that we believe deserve attention.\n\nThe venue's aesthetic beauty and breathtaking view were truly exceptional, exceeding our expectations. The food and beverage service was also outstanding, receiving numerous compliments from our guests. These elements contributed significantly to making our special day memorable and joyful.\n\nHowever, our experience was unfortunately marred by inconsistencies in communication and coordination. We found the response time from our assigned coordinator to be unacceptably slow, often experiencing delays of up to a week in receiving email replies. This lack of responsiveness created unnecessary stress and anxiety during the already demanding wedding planning process. Furthermore, the fact that we were assigned two entirely different coordinators on our wedding day, neither of whom we had met previously, was deeply unsettling. This lack of continuity significantly impacted our experience. We strongly recommend implementing a system that ensures couples work with a consistent point of contact throughout the entire planning process, ideally with a backup coordinator who is fully briefed on the details of the event. This would alleviate much of the stress couples experience during the lead-up to their wedding.\n\nAdding to our concerns, one of the coordinators on the day of the wedding displayed an overly aggressive and pushy demeanor. This individual rushed us through crucial moments such as the ceremony, photography sessions, and the cake-cutting ceremony, creating a sense of pressure and urgency that detracted from our enjoyment.\n\nIn summary, while we cherish the beautiful memories of our wedding, particularly the stunning venue and delicious food, we believe significant improvements are necessary in the communication and coordination processes. Addressing these concerns will undoubtedly enhance the experience for future couples and ensure that their special day unfolds smoothly and without undue stress. We hope the venue will consider our constructive feedback and wish other couples the best!",

"content": "Highly recommend Oceanview of Nahant! The venue itself is beautiful. They are super organized and they do so many weddings that they have it down to a science. The food was incredible (honestly we liked it much better than the food from the tasting event), and it was incredibly helpful to have the day-of coordinators making sure we stayed on schedule and getting us anything we needed. Two special elements that I think are unique to Oceanview: 1) We loved the last dance on the beach as a special way to end the reception and 2) the \"firepit finale\" (firepits and smores on the beach after party add-on). If you want a beautiful venue that has already thought out all the details so that you don't have to stress as much, this is it!",

"content": "The Oceanview & its staff helped us to achieve the absolute BEST wedding day and if we had to do it all over again we'd pick this place 100 times over!! The staff was amazing from start to finish, and we had the pleasure of planning with Lish, Claire and Allison. I had a million questions along the way and they were always so helpful and happy to ease my stresses. The food here was incredible, both at the tasting and the day of our wedding - people told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had! I told them my vision for our decor and it came together exactly how I wanted it too. We honestly felt like each and everyone of the staff members really cared and wanted us to have the best day. The all inclusive package was also a great choice because it comes with so much, including the Pure Energy Entertainment DJ which was another amazing vendor!! They even have cute areas around the venue that have cute quotes on the walls that make for GREAT pictures!! I cannot say enough good things about this venue as a whole or the staff, and I'm so hoping I know somebody who gets married here in the future so we can go back and enjoy it from the other side! We fell in love the second we arrived and choosing this for our big day was the easiest and best decision we made - 12/10 in every aspect!! ",

They took the guesswork out of everything and took away any feelings of being overwhelmed with the wedding planning process. Sami handled every detail efficiently. Her experience and organizational skills were invaluable. Each meeting was relaxed and fun! Our emails with questions to Sami and staff were always answered promptly and they never rushed us. Sami’s guidance was so appreciated by us when it came time to plan the menu and bar service. She did not miss one detail of the ceremony and timeline of the wedding. We initially fell in love with the stunning location and view, but what really blew us away was the professionalism and warmth of the entire team.\n\nThe day felt seamless from start to finish. The Oceanview team helped with so many details—setting up, keeping us on schedule, and creating a clear timeline—which made the planning process feel surprisingly hands off for us. On the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch.\n\nThe food was incredible, and we had such a fun time doing a tasting date night at the venue earlier in the year. A special shoutout to our personal coordinator, Allison, whose upbeat energy and expertise made a huge difference. "content": "We are so happy we booked with Oceanview of Nahant! The ocean views were breathtaking, the cocktail and reception areas were elegantly designed, and the firepit finale was the perfect cherry on top! All of our guests couldn’t stop raving at how beautiful the ceremony was, and how much fun they had taking photos on the balcony and by the beach. \n\nWhen it came to planning, Oceanview was great, they have an entire portal that made it super easy to plan every little detail, and they were always open to video calls to help explain anything or just to bounce ideas around. They were very accommodating throughout the entire process, and no question was too big or small! The entire staff was so friendly, but a big shout out to Sami and Lish for helping us coordinate all the months leading up to the wedding! \n\nThe food was also amazing, we are definitely biased, but our apps were some of the best we have had at any wedding! The bacon wrapped scallops and quesadillas were to die for! The tasting dinner they held was so fun and they had tons of entree options for all different types of palates. We had guests who were gluten free, vegan, and all different types of food allergies, and no one had any problems. The his and hers cocktails were also a huge hit, and the open bar in general had tons of options and tasted delicious!\n\nThe attention to detail at Oceanview was superb! They definitely know weddings and how to make a truly memorable experience for everyone! From the heart shaped door handles to the last dance with fog machine on the beach, everything was meticulously thought out from start to finish! Our guests were always entertained and we felt completely taken care of. The day of coordinators handled everything with our wedding planner, which allowed us to focus completely on each other and enjoy the day!\n\nA few things to keep in mind while booking: they have a 150 guest minimum on weekends. We had 120, and we personally think 120-150 is a perfect amount, but anything more than maybe 175 looks like it would get pretty crowded. They book two weddings on weekends, so if you have an afternoon wedding, there isn’t a lot of leeway for decorators or vendors to set up early because Oceanview has to clean up the morning wedding. Our vendors had about 1.5 hours to set up, which was enough time in our case, but definitely something to note if you are planning a lot of elaborate decorations. There is also no guarantee that the coordinators you have been planning with are there on wedding day. The whole team was amazing to work with and they share all notes through the portal, but we hired a personal coordinator for more ease of mind. Lastly, if you have questions, remember to ask them early. The Oceanview staff are very busy with weddings during the weekends, so they need to take breaks during the week. This means you only have a few days during the week to set up calls and get answers, so the earlier you ask the better! \n\nOverall, we had a fantastic time working with Oceanview! Communication was great, the location and details were amazing, and the whole experience and atmosphere they provide is unlike any other! We cannot recommend them enough, and we honestly hope some of our friends book here too so we can experience the beautiful venue as guests!",

Being able to use their house items such as centerpieces, card boxes, etc. was a massive upside for us. Additionally, all of the decisions felt digestible and easy to make. EVERY member of their wedding planning team was amazing, helpful, and so easy to get along with. We honestly left there feeling we were friends with each and every team member that helped make our special day a reality. I cannot recommend this venue enough and we have had nothing but compliments about the Oceanview from friends and family since we had our wedding! Their options for smaller and larger weddings as well as some unique New England offerings make the venue such a great option for couples. As an LGBTQ+ couple we always felt welcomed, represented and safe while planning our wedding.",

"content": "My husband and I got married at the Oceanview on 5/15/25. We can't say enough about how accommodating and wonderful the staff was leading up to our wedding and day of! Our coordinators were very responsive to emails whenever we had a question about our wedding, even though some of the questions were probably crazy. Our day of coordinators were Aly and Claire and they were both two of the sweetest people I have ever met. They reviewed everything with my husband and I to make sure the day went smoothly and it was the most perfect day! The venue itself was perfect for our wedding, we had 90 people and everyone LOVED the venue so much and could not stop raving about how good the food was! My husband and I didn't look at many venues, and chose the Oceanview pretty quickly in our search but we are so so thankful and glad we did! It was absolutely perfect!",

"content": "A true and honest review:\n\nTL:DR - AMAZING staff, beautiful venue, don’t regret doing our wedding there at all, a bit of false advertising, and many things were incredibly overpriced.\n\nI’ll start with the pros. First off let me say that each and every staff member at Oceanview of Nahant, ESPECIALLY all of the coordinators, are absolutely amazing and deserve nothing but praise. Particularly for my wife and I, we worked with Sami and Allison throughout the planning process and Claire and Meghan for our day of coordinators. They were all amazing from start to finish, especially Claire and Meghan on the day of. They made it so stress free and organized everything so well!\n\nIn addition, the venue is unbelievably beautiful. We are still constantly getting compliments about how beautiful the place was. It’s so perfectly designed for weddings in every way shape and form.\n\nThe food was also fantastic. We did a clambake which was a blast. The lobster was so good and so was everything else! The bibs were a fun touch lol. Everyone is still talking about the food! While on the topic of the clambake, let’s get to the cons.\n\nThe first and biggest con was that we were misled to what the clambake was going to be. They actually just prepare all of the seafood in the back kitchen with everything else. Yet, they call it a clambake and even advertise it as being done on the rocks with seaweed outside on the beach like a typical clambake is done via a video on their website. What’s worse is they recently redid their website and they still showcase that video. We were never told that it wasn’t actually a clambake, so for a year throughout the planning process we kept telling all of our guests about how we were doing this outdoor clambake, and we were very disappointed to find out that they actually don’t do that anymore and we actually found out from our photographer 2 months before the wedding. So that was definitely a bummer lol. Don’t get me wrong it was still great, but why advertise that if that’s not what you do? We felt it should’ve been explained to us when we decided to do the clambake.\n\nMy last con is probably no surprise being that this is a wedding venue and a high end one at that, is that they nickel and dime the heck out of you if you want absolutely anything extra. Want the arcade machines that are already plugged into their walls? $1500. Want them to turn on the fire pits and make some smores at night? $2000. Things like that. I just wish these things were a lot more accessible and the pricing of them kind of just seems like a “cause we can” kind of thing.\n\nThey also used the fog machine for our last dance and we asked to do it without that. Not a big deal, but just wanted to point it out.\n\nAgain, let me reiterate that the staff and coordinators were truly amazing!!! And the venue was incredible. Despite the cons, we don’t regret a thing. They made it the most incredible day of our lives and we’d do it all over again if we could!\n\n- Nate and Tay 6/1/25",

I had a lot of questions and she was able to answer every single one in a timely response! Not to mention she is always so positive and happy to help, so it’s very refreshing when you’re stressed with wedding planning! The rest of the coordinators seemed to be the same way and were always friendly in the few interactions we had, so no matter which coordinator at Oceanview you get assigned to, you will be impressed! Not to mention the venue itself is gorgeous! Everyone was talking about the view and even the design of the ballroom and bar. All of it is very up to date and beautiful! The minute my husband and I toured, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here! The food was also very good and they had many gluten free, vegetarian, and pescatarian options. Would 10000% recommend Oceanview!",

"content": "What an absolutely amazing team and venue! From the start of the planning phase, Claire was super friendly and quick to respond to my many questions. I felt very supported and informed throughout the planning process, and on the day of the wedding, my entire family felt we could put our trust in Claire and Ali. They were so professional, and they knew everything about everything. They asked us questions that involved us in the experience to an extent, without overwhelming us, and ensured our day was as we had hoped. The venue itself is still the talk of our families. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony with the beach background and a gorgeous flow from the cocktail hour into the reception; it was awesome. The space for dancing was excellent, which provided numerous photo opportunities. I could go on and on about how amazing this team is. Being from Boston, this still actually felt like a destination wedding. If you're wondering where to get married and you're into classy modern fairy tales, this is where you need to be. ",

"content": "My wedding was on 8/5/2024, the venue is absolutely beautiful and we really feel in love with the place. Planning the wedding the staff was always responsive and friendly. However I am giving 4 stars because returning our items was not so helpful. Our cake stand wasn't returned when we left the venue, not a big deal, but when we let them know they shipped it out and It went to a wrong address. So we contacted them again to see where it was and they ended up reshipping it to us again... Now my issue is with the packing. There was none, it was a ceramic cake stand that could of held emotional value to us. It arrived broken.... and when we reached back out to just simply let them know that it finally arrived but it was sadly broken, we didn't receive any response. I'm not one to complain but with the amount of money we spent, even for our small wedding package, you would think they could afford to send it packaged correctly, or at least acknowledged the issue and apologize... It just seems that since our wedding planning was over they could care less.. truly is a beautiful venue , just upsetting that no one cared afterwards. ",

"content": "Our wedding at the Oceanview was perfect! First off, the staff at the Oceanview were so helpful! They were with us every step of the way with the planning and were very responsive any time we had a question. Then, on the big day, Lish and Meghan were so attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. Anytime we needed anything, they were right there. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. You can't beat the views, and they had it set up exactly how we envisioned it for our wedding. After the photographs/ceremony were done, Lish brought us up to the ballroom just to make sure everything was set up how we wanted before they brought our guests in, and it was stunning! Throughout the night, all of the food was excellent, and we received many compliments from our guests on how good it was. We also added the Oceanview's video game option for our cocktail hour and photobooth for the entire night, and both were big hits with our guests. And of course, the last dance on the beach was a highlight of the evening! In summary, the Oceanview is a beautiful venue with great food, all the bells and whistles, and incredibly professional and attentive staff who will work with you to make sure that everything goes perfectly. Five stars!",

Special thanks to our wedding coordinators, Ally, Sami, and Caitlin who guided us through the entire process and made sure all aspects from the food, setup, and rehearsal were seamless. \n\nThe venue is perfect for a small to medium sized wedding (we had 120 guests). The food was amazing and all our guests were happy with the selections that were chosen and portion sizes. The seafood was delicious, (Broiled Scallops/Bacon, Lobster salad rolls, shrimp boat, filet & lobster tail duet).\n\nThe experience provided was amazing and we would highly recommend this venue to any of our friends, family, and prospective couples looking at this spot.",

We loved having the ocean as a backdrop to our tent ceremony and our guests enjoyed going out on the decks during cocktail hour and dancing. "content": "We are so happy we selected Oceanview as our wedding location. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are great! The venue is gorgeous inside, which made it nice because we didn’t need to purchase a lot of extra decor. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how nice being on the water was as well. Our pictures came out so well. The planning leading up to the wedding was made easy by the portal and our coordinator, Sami, was very helpful in answering any of our questions. She also took care of everything the day of the wedding, so we didn’t worry about anything. The food was amazing! My husband even mentioned that he was excited about the lamb lollipops and they made him his own plate. They definitely made sure we ate, which many of our married friends who went to other vendors said they didn’t get to do. Oceanview also offers some great dessert alternatives. We selected the milkshake station and it was a hit with everyone! We selected for a private last dance on the beach and that was one of our favorite parts of the night. The only recommendation we have is to communicate more about end of the night. We thought that was a bit rushed after our dance and had different expectations for grabbing decor. We had a few people get off our bus to come grab things. Maybe it was our misunderstanding, but something we wished was discussed a bit in more detail. Still, we’re so glad we selected Oceanview and thankful for their great staff who made our day even more special. ",

"content": "We toured the oceanview as our first venue and fell in love immediately. Our tour was fantastic and set the tone for the rest of the planning process. Allison was our coordinator and we cannot thank her enough. Her attention to detail and commitment to her couples is outstanding. She was patient and answered all our questions, no matter how many emails we sent she always answered. Our food tasting was amazing also. The date got switched due to storms, but they still had multiple options to ensure you had a tasting. The owner came around to each table to chat. Throughout the planning process they have reminders and check ins and have a final meeting where you sit down and discuss every single detail in detail, it was so helpful. The staff on our wedding day was absolutely amazing. They think of absolutely everything so you don’t have to. Small details you don’t even think about, they do. They were constantly checking in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The behind the scenes work the entire staff does at the venue did not go unnoticed. All our guests said their food was delicious!! The oceanview is more than just a beautiful venue for us; they helped us curate a wedding we always wanted and dreamed of. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us that day. To everyone at the Oceanview, thank you so much for being apart of our special day and making it everything we wanted and more! ",

We did the all-inclusive package, added the lawn games, and skipped the ceremony (we were already married and didn’t want a vow renewal). I love the waterfront view, the fact that only one wedding is there at a time (so no crashers), and that there is so much to do! Our guests had so much fun going outside and chatting, dancing in the ballroom, or playing lawn games outside!",

"content": "Where do I begin for the review of this venue?!\n\nOceanview of Nahant is in a gorgeous location. The view is picturesque beach scenery, and they have continuously updated the location to keep up with feeling “timeless”. The venue is large enough for my 120 person wedding to not feel cramped. I personally love how this venue only has one wedding at a time, as such my guests were able to take advantage of the many areas of this venue, including the bar area, the decks, and the main dining area. I continue to receive compliments on this venue.\n \nNot only is the venue beautiful itself, but the individuals we worked with are experts in the area of wedding planning. I had 3 day of coordinators, which came with the venue, all of which who were so easy to work with. Sami, our main coordinator, was extremely helpful when we had some last minute changes that naturally occur when planning a wedding. The staff are all professional and so ready to help with whatever you need. They made wedding planning less stressful and enjoyable. We opted out of having a rehearsal due to some of the wedding party not being available, despite this, we remained confident as the staff have prepared videos that you can send to your wedding party to assist in a visual and the coordinators provide step by step instructions to everyone involved in the party, so even if you have no idea what to do (like me) they guide you literally every step of the way.\n \nOne of the main reasons we chose this venue was the inclusivity. They have almost everything you need onsite, including catering, linens, décor, and other add ons. We did decide to include the Bubbly Ceremony and the Fire Pit Finale, which I highly recommend adding on if possible. The fire pit finale was a beautiful, low-key way to end the night, and it gave my now husband a moment to sit down and talk with our family and friends. We are still getting comments about the s’mores!\n \nIn regards to the onsite catering, the food was not only amazing, but also large serving sizes. None of our guests left feeling hungry and they all comment on the serving sizes we received.\n \nAll in all, this venue and the staff are experts in wedding planning and I would highly recommend this venue to couples who are planning a beach wedding. The staff are highly attentive, they keep you on schedule, and they work with you in the case things do not work out as originally planned. They made our wedding day as stress free as possible. \n",

"content": "Best day of our lives! Oceanview was able to provide the wedding of our dreams. We used their small but mighty package and would absolutely do it all again. From top notch service to the beauty of the space it was incredible. Sammy was so patient and kind. They have a system and it works to put together the best weddings. We were a budget friendly package and they NEVER ONCE made us feel like we weren't just as important as someone not using a package deal. Every vendor they suggested was spot on. We went with both Chris for our photographer and Pure Entertainment for the DJ and they both were amazing. 10/10 the best day of our lives started and ended with Oceanview. I would want to have a party there again one day or just go to another wedding there. The food is fantastic, the drinks are fun and yummy, and the space provides so many picture perfect moments. Every guest had a great time and commented on how amazing the space was. We would love to come back again! ",

Everything was well put together to create not only a theme but a whole experience. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire process, from when we first met them through the big day. They really made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our wedding. "content": "We just had our wedding day on 8/12/24 and it was a beautiful day! The planning process was a breeze and the team really showed they cared and made everything easy. There were a couple things that happened the day of though, one major, one minor-ish. We rehearsed and planned that my groom would be walking my mother down the aisle for the ceremony. Right before the ceremony, it was either Megan, Claire or Sami who told her to wait in the main lobby of the venue. She sat there completely alone and when she asked an employee walking by if she was supposed to be there, she was told to go upstairs to the bar. She said she wouldn’t be moving because she was the mother of the bride. The ceremony started and one of the coordinators tried to send my groom down the aisle without her! My groom refused and said “No, I’m walking the mother of the bride down.” They still tried to tell him to go! He refused. The music played on and I am standing in the hallway when Claire runs by me and asks where my mom was. I very stressed out said someone told her to wait in the main lobby. They ran and got her but because of this, the song had to be restarted by the DJ. I am very sad and upset by this incident and it should have never happened. :(\n\nThe minor thing was that cake was never announced that it was served. Most of our guests didn’t know cake was on the back wall and my daughter said she saw a very grumpy waiter callously put our cake on the table. We ended up having to throw a way basically two whole tiers worth because guests didn’t know it was served. It was a $950 wedding cake. \n:(\n\nA couple other things: Our last dance on the beach song started playing before we even got on the platform, and then it was so quiet you could barely hear it! We had to ask for it to be turned up, which was awkward. \n\nSome Guests also didn’t know we had the audio guestbook or where the favors were. My suggestion is to have the DJ make minor announcements about these things.\n\nI guess I just am dissapointed with these things because we planned everything to a T, and really thought everything would be perfect. I still highly recommend Oceanview and love the team, especially Sami, Allison and Megan. I will miss getting to work with them and coming to the venue for planning! ",

Sami made us feel so special and we really appreciate the care she took to help us plan our day. Not only are the views stunning and the property beyond gorgeous but the food is to die for! "content": "The Oceanview of Nahant was the 2nd and last wedding venue we toured because we immediately fell in love. \n\nPhotos cannot do the Oceanview justice - this venue is immaculate, swoon-worthy, and a ‘hidden gem’ just outside of Boston! By some miracle, they had a last-minute opening for an evening wedding and we planned our \"simplistic, but elegant with a touch of nautical\" dream wedding in just under a year.\n\nFrom our tour with Brenda (Owner) to our wedding day, everything was flawless. My husband and I cannot praise the staff enough, but a huge shout-out goes to our point of contact & day of coordinator, Allison (Director of Weddings & Events). She went above and beyond, answering all of our questions, including working with her bartenders to ensure our special signature raspberry sangria was a hit and that everything ran like clockwork on the big day. We also want to thank Lish, our co day-of coordinator, for being so joyful and also making sure our moving our florals from the ceremony to the reception looked perfect. Our guests raved about the food (the lamb passed apps were a hit!) and enjoyed exploring all the different spaces from ballroom to cocktail lounge, terraces & “lawn” games!\n\nIt's been just over a week since our wedding, and we’re still in awe of our day. If you are considering having your special day at the Oceanview, book it. It's worth every penny. ",

The food was delicious and the staff was awesome. Been too alot of places for events, and I put this place at the top of my list of good choices!\nBartender was attentive! Had personality and made great drinks.\n\nHAVE TO WAY TO GO TO ALL THE STAFF AT VENUE! TOP NOTCH!"

"reviewText": "I had the incredible privilege of photographing a stunning destination wedding at Oceanview of Nahant in Nahant, Massachusetts. Coming from across the country from Washington State, the venue staff was so great to work with! From the very first communication, up to the wedding day and final gallery delivery, everyone I had the pleasure of working with was extremely nice and helpful. The venue's breathtaking ocean front, lush greenery, and skyline views made for so many picturesque backdrops. From the elegant ceremony on the terrace with panoramic sea views to the beautifully decorated reception space, every detail was impeccable. The staff were welcoming and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly the day of. The natural beauty of the location, combined with the exceptional service, made it a dream setting for capturing unforgettable moments. I highly recommend this wedding venue!"

"reviewText": "My husband and I got married at the Oceanview Of Nahant, Just over a week ago. I don’t even know where to begin because our day was just the most magical day I could’ve ever imagined. The entire oceanview staff was incredibly wonderful to work with. We had planned on getting married on the open air Beach Terrace part of the venue, But unfortunately, ended up with a very rainy day. My coordinator, Allison, made sure that we had the most beautiful set up inside the ballroom for our ceremony, and made sure that it was still everything that I had dreamed of. I truly forgot that I was supposed to be getting married outside because I was just so in awe of how beautiful the space looked. You really can’t go wrong with getting married in any part of this venue because it is just beyond stunning. I really need to highlight how amazing our coordinator Allison was, I truly didn’t think it was possible for a wedding day to go through without a hiccup, but when I tell you, everything was absolutely perfect and nothing went wrong. I’m not even joking! She made that entire day run so smoothly I had zero stress whatsoever. Moving onto the food, we had so many compliments on how it was some of the best wedding food our guest had ever had! Everything was brought out completely fresh and in a timely order guess weren’t waiting around to get their dinner which was so awesome! I could go on and on about how perfect this day was, but the oceanview will forever hold a special place in our heart, And I will recommend this venue to anybody!"
