She was very organized and was always available to answer any questions I had. On the day of the wedding, Deorinda and the staff helped made the day run as smoothly as can be. I was afraid that I would be very stressed on my wedding day but, thanks to their help and their calming demeanor, I was stress free. Everyone there was so friendly, nice, and attentive to my needs and the needs of my guests. I had tons of compliments throughout the night from my guests on how nice all the staff was. The staff also set up my wedding decorations and they made everything look beautiful. They were able to take what I was planning in my head and brought it to life. "content": "Our wedding was 11.6.21 and it was perfect! We knew the second we saw the ballroom that this was our venue. It is newly renovated, so everything is very clean looking. Every single staff member is excellent. Kim was amazing with helping us organize everything and very response with emails/calls. Dorinda was wonderful keeping the day of moving smoothly and attending to everyone's needs. Meg was amazing with making sure we and our parents were well taken care of. Also, Rose was a HUGE hit with our guests. She was a waitstaff member who not only danced her way around but made everyone laugh. They let us do what we wanted and how we wanted and made sure all of our details were perfect. Pricing is very affordable and they have flexible packages to meet your needs. We chose to get married indoors and the ballroom was perfect in front of the fireplace. If you are looking for outdoors, the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. One huge bonus here that other venues we toured didn't have, a very large bridal suite. Most places they were closets but here it is a very large room with fireplace and more than enough room for your whole party. We had almost nothing go wrong but any slight hiccup, they helped solve with no disruptions. Another big thing is the food. We loved the food at the trial and all of our guests were complimenting the food after the facts. We had around 180 people so with large groups, sometimes it is hard to have everyone's meals be hot/cooked correctly but we had zero complaints. Everything was excellent and I cannot praise the entire club enough. Everyone is so kind and they made us feel like they truly cared about us and all of our details. We would do it all again in a heart beat!",

"content": "We knew within minutes of our initial tour that Wannamoisett was going to be the venue we went with. We had toured 10+ venues (picky husbands fault), but Wannamoisett had absolutely everything was wanted while staying within a very reasonable price range. They did a beautiful job setting up the venue and capturing our image perfectly. The cocktail hour location was a huge hit with our guests and they loved how beautiful the back room was.\n\nThe day of the wedding was a little more hectic than we hoped for. We spent a lot of time waiting for someone to tell us what to do and more than a few times my husband or I had to ask the coordinators what to do next. There seemed to be no communication between the venue and our DJ and Photographer but all in all, it was not too bad. There was no one around to tell us to start lining up for the ceremony so our ceremony started about 20 minutes late.\n\nMy husband and I left for a half an hour to take pictures during the reception and when we got back, the guests still hadn't received their food even though we were told they would be eating while we were gone. My steak was on the colder side when it came out, but it was delicious non the less.\n\nThe ONLY complaint our guests had was the fact that the dinner rolls were HARD AS ROCKS. I didn't believe them at first, but they were almost impossible to bite through and were so hard that almost no one ate them. \n\nOverall, I would get married again there in a heart beat, but I would stress that they need to communicate better with the vendors.",

"content": "Our wedding was 8/7/2021. There were pros and cons in our experience. The venue is beautiful, reasonably priced and they allowed our dog in the ceremony! We had to push our wedding back in 2020 and the venue was very accommodating. We worked with Kim and Dorinda and had some interaction with Julie, all were polite and helpful! On the day we did have some issues of concern- I was walking down the aisle with both my mother and father which the venue was aware of although the placement of the chairs were so close that once we turned down the aisle there wasn’t enough room for us so I lost my mother as she had to travel behind us. We had been told several times that we would be able to use the golf carts for our pictures so that we wouldn’t have to walk to some of the spots and it appears most of the golf carts were given to their members thankfully my fiancé demanded one for us so that we could get at least a couple of the pictures we had wanted. Also we had been told in the beginning that there were no other events that day and that there would be plenty of parking for guests when we had gotten to the venue to there were very few spots left both parking lots were packed and the place was full of members! We had to move out of their way while taking our pictures we were dodging members golfing and carts the entire time! Also when we had gotten there to use the bridal suite and the grooms room apparently there were still people sitting in the grooms room eating so the guys could not start getting ready right away even though we are allowed the rooms two hours in advance and they were well aware that we would be there! The decorations were set up as we wanted and they did do a beautiful job with that! Also The food was very good! The wait staff was definitely one of our huge pain points a lot of guests and vendors received the wrong meals some of them got stuck with children’s meals which was not what was given to the venue in final details. There was also a lot of confusion during our toasts with the lighting, staff didn’t seem to know how to dim the lights so lights flickered then stayed brightly lit the majority of the night! There were several times throughout the night where we couldn’t find any staff on the floor the bar line had grown pretty large unfortunately my fiancé spent most of the night running back-and-forth looking for people which he should not have done as he found a lot of the staff sitting and eating in the cocktail room! We were advised we could have our guests sit outside the cocktail room near the fire pit a staff member came and approached our guests and told them they had to move because that was a members only area! also we had several guests attempt to buy shots at the bar and were told by the bartender she is not allowed to serve shots! There really wasn’t anyone to manage our timeline which i had provided to them we lost track of time and didn’t remember the cake cutting until after most of the guests had already left around 10:15 PM . There was no staff on the floor to take the cake so we had to look for someone to come take the cake to cut for the guests. The wait staff began clearing tables prior to guests finishing their drinks/food several guests had purchased drinks and when they returned to their tables after visiting the Photobooth, etc their drinks were gone. There were several other issues but all in all we had a wonderful time regardless! ",

From the elegant brick exterior to the massive fireplace and chandeliers in the ballroom, this venue screams charm! I also want to point out that the bridal suite was an extremely generous size and the cocktail area was beautiful (it had been newly renovated). I can't forget about the food! A few months before the wedding we went for a food tasting. They allowed us to bring both sets of parents so we could try a different entree each. It was SO difficult to choose two! The food was absolutely delicious. We ended up choosing the NY Sirloin and Baked Stuff Chicken. Our guests could not stop raving about the food at our wedding. The portions were large and hot. We had a few vegetarian/gluten free guests and the venue offered a separate dinner option without hesitation. Since our wedding was off-season (2/22/20) we had a bit more flexibility with some things. Our theme was winter wonderland and my Mom and I (she was my wedding planner) spent countless hours looking for the perfect decor to fill the room. Since there were no other events that week, the venue let us start decorating on Thursday morning. If you prefer not to have any part in decorating, they do have someone to help with this. Dee was lovely to work with and helped bring our vision to life. She was our day-of coordinator and made us feel at ease the whole way through. She and her staff were professional and always there when needed. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. I could go on and on at how fabulous every part of the venue and staff were. "content": "We were so pleased with the entire experience working with Wannamoisett Country Club. Not only was their venue classy, beautiful and charming, the service was humble, kind and accommodating. Our guests were so happy with the room, the views of the golf course, the location, parking and the amazing services. Julie, the banquet manager, is a sweet, calming and fair person to work with. Wedding are a high pressure, high costs event, but working with Julie, she listens to you and offers wonderful ideas to make things work for both parties. We even got a refund check in the mail because we did not consume as much as we budgeted. The food was delicious. We went with the NY sirloin and honey glazed salmon options. Our guest raved at the salmon, and the the sirloin melted in your mouth. The room layout was perfect, big room, nice location for the band, bar was in a good spot in the room, and dance floor was the focus. The fireplace was nicely decorated with lit candles that gave the occasion a warm ambiance. The bridal suite felt like it was right out of a magazine. It was newly renovated and it was a nice place to relax and unwind after the ceremony. We recharged our batteries there, freshened up and indulged in yummy appetizers and drinks before the reception. We originally planned to have cocktail hour in the beautiful well manicured front-lawn, but due to high humidity and heat, Wannamoisett moved it to the air conditioned members-only lounge with views to the golf course, with no up-charge. The club also provided a golf cart to explore the course and take pictures at scenic locations. Our favorite pictures were by the stone bridge and the ivy covered stone wall. Everything leading up to the wedding and during the wedding was just easy. Julie and her crew were very accommodating and wonderful to partner with. Wannamoisett is by far a terrific value for the service, class and charm you get. One last note, we wanted a special espresso coffee and brandy service, the groom's family tradition. We agreed to served about 10 guest in the backroom, and it ballooned to over 30 guests and the staff stepped up and delivered a memorable experience. We were so grateful for that moment. "content": "We had our wedding in December of 2019 just before the new year and we could not have been more thrilled with how wonderful and perfect everything turned out considering we planned our special day in just 3 months. Julie was extremely accommodating and on point, assisting us from planning everything from the colors, to the meals, to offering bits of advice in between. My husband and I found ourselves overwhelmed at times being that we didn't have much time to plan and we received amazing feedback from our guests regarding the flow of the wedding right down to the decor and food. We were able to sample the food at our wedding by having a couples \"night out\". While we were unable to eat at the venue due to our busy schedules, Julie packed our meal to go and we were thrilled with how the chicken francaise and baked scrod were cooked (the side of mashed potatoes were probably the best I've ever tried). I had requested that my husband have his own special meal of pasta on the wedding day, and the custom made shrimp scampi over angel hair did not disappoint! On the day of the event, Dorinda was AMAZING; she made sure everything was to our liking, checking in with us throughout the whole night to make sure our guests were happy in addition to us. At the end of the night, we were able to lock everything up and pick up our decorations later in the week to ensure we had nothing to worry about on our wedding night. While the weather is something that is out of anyone's control, we were so fortunate for a December wedding that the temperature was bearable in addition to clear skies. The outdoor photographs we were able to take for our \"first look\" at the gazebo and our \"night\" exit shot, came out better than anyone could have hoped due to the well manicured grounds and golf course greens.\n\nWe wanted to thank the entire staff at Wannamoisett for the professionalism, experience extended, and for making our special day one to remember forever. For anyone looking for a gorgeous venue at a very reasonable price, we would recommend Julie, Dorinda, and this amazing country club without hesitation or reservation.",

The whole staff truly does go about and beyond to make sure your wedding is exactly what you envision and hope it to be. They are wonderfully accommodating in all regards, even when we had a few guests with some very specific dietary restrictions. All of the food was absolutely delicious! Once we got to the day of--we arrived to a beautifully decorated venue & day of staff that was more than ready to help us throughout our wedding day. We had an issue with a stain on a dress pre-ceremony & the staff pulled out all of the tricks to help get the stain removed. We would absolutely recommend that if you are considering having your wedding at Wannamoisett Country Club--you do, you will not regret it!",

The professionalism of the staff and administration there is outstanding, and they are extremely helpful when it comes to planning!!! We had booked two years in advance, and working with them was a breeze. They took the time to meet with us whenever we had questions or even if we just wanted to visit. Not only do they make the big day special, but leading up to it special as well. They go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to your expectations and goes the way that you want it to, and they make sure that it is as stress free as can be for the couple. They offer a couple different wedding packages there that include vendors for almost everything you may need. This made it extremely helpful in picking out our DJ, bakery, florist, photographer, etc. All of the preferred vendors they refer you to are just as fantastic. They are all extremely nice and all go out of their way to make the day and the planning special and easy. Since getting married and having our wedding there, we have received nothing but endless amounts of compliments on how beautiful this venue was and how great the food and the staff were!!!!",

I had never heard of the venue until I went to a bridal show and met Kim. She answered all of my questions and I immediately made an appointment to come see the venue first hand. When I saw the venue they were in the middle of renovations and I still fell in love with it. Kim explained all of the packages that the venue offered, which was really what sold me on the location. I wanted a place that was different, that was affordable, and that was beautiful- Wannamoisett was all of that and then some! \n\nOnce I solidified a date, I began working with Julie! She answered all of my questions about decor, timing, food, etc. She scheduled a “couples night out” for my husband and I to try the potential meals for the wedding. He had Sirloin and I had the baked stuffed chicken and each were equally as yummy! The day of the wedding the food was still just as delicious!\n \nAs we approached the day of the wedding we began working with Dorinda. She worked with me to set up the room with the pictures frames, votives, etc. On the day of the wedding she and the staff were still just as helpful. The staff made sure my husband and I always a full drink and everything we needed. \n\nI honestly could not have picked a better venue! I would pick Wannamoisett over and over again! Thank you to all the staff that helped us plan such a magical day! It was absolutely perfect!",

Every time I called with questions, concerns , or an “ask” I received nothing but positivity and a “we can do that” answer. \nThe actual night was perfect. Food was delicious, hot, on time. Plenty of waitpersons serving, so we were all served together- and we had 58 people.\nBartender was so nice and efficient. \nThey cut up cakes we brought for dessert and even put a piece of orange chocolate I provided on each plate. They had a large screen television for viewing a video the maid of honor made of the bride and groom.\nAmbiance was beautiful- we overlooked the golf course. Had beautiful linens, chairs, votives. Our florist dropped off the centerpieces.\nCan’t recommend enough, and I’m fussy!\nIt was everything I hoped the Rehearsal Dinner would be! (I’m the groom’s mom)",

Everyone that worked their was very accommodation especially Julie; as well as professional and courteous. "content": "Amazing! One of many words that come to mind when describing the incredible time we had celebrating our wedding at Wannamoisett! From the planning phase all the way up to the the moment the Dj played the last song of the night. From the way they decorated for us to the way the food tasted. From the sessions we spent planning with Julie and the amazing attention to detail received from the entire staff the night of our wedding. It was incredible. Ashley was so attentive, even helping the photographer with amazing poses and suggestions that enhanced the photo session. She certainly used her experience at the venue to enhance our experience at the venue 😁.\n\nThe food was delicious, the way they decorated the entrance for us was right in line with our rustic theme. They hit the Rusty nail right on the head with this one. They accommodated every one of our requests for that night and even went above and beyond making sure our night was beyond special. \n\nI would highly recommend making this the one and only venue you visit when it comes time to choosing your venue. You will heavily regret not making this the place you celebrate the best day of your life. They made the night perfect for us, and they will do the same for you.\n\nHighlights:\n·The venue is yours for day, they don't book multiple weddings in a day (trust when I say, very important detail).\n·The food choice, incredible and accommodating of all restrictions. They had options like vegan, veggiterian, and gluten free.\n·Pricing - affordable, they had two options. You can either choose a package that gives you a set price per guest and includes all the vendors. This allows you to accurately budget your wedding and avoid a lot of stress. Option two, you can rent the venue along with the food and shop your own vendors... "content": "My wife and I had our Wedding Reception at Wannamoisett Country Club on May 26, 2018. Starting in July of 2017 we had the pleasure of working with Julie who went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations on what we were looking for on our special day. In the weeks leading up Julie and her team went out of there way to make sure every last detail was in place and all of our external vendors were squared away. We opted with the grand wedding package and we are sure glad we did! Our wedding reception was unforgettable and seemed like it was a out of a fairytale. At the reception we were treated like King and Queen and having the incredible staff especially Gianna and Sarah who went above and beyond to make our night seamless. My wife and her bridal party also had the pleasure to use the front room with fireplace to get ready the day of the wedding, where again Gianna and Julie helped assure everything went off without a hitch between decorations, schedule and refreshments. The ballroom was absolutely stunning and the perfect place to celebrate our marriage of love. From the staff to the food to all other accommodations Wannamoisett was the most incredible venue we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have a perfect wedding!",

"content": "My wedding was held on 4/7/2018 at Wannamoisset Country club. The wedding day itself was the most perfect day I could have ever dreamed of. The attention and professionalism by Johnna and Ashley (our day of captains) superseded our expectations and blew not only my husband and I away, but many of our guests also saw their attention and quality of service throughout the entire night. Johnna and Ashley did not let us need or want for a single thing. They are fantastic!!\nThe planning process I felt had some communication issues. There were times that my questions seemed to be new or unheard of and needed further looking into by other managers, while we did always get a reply, the initial reactions seemed as though we were asking something out of left field. \nI feel the information and details of the wedding day were passed from the coordinator to the team on the day of flawlessly, however the interactions and one on one meetings with the coordinator left myself, my husband, and my parents feeling as though we were being judged on several occasions.\nThe biggest area I would suggest for a change is the food tasting. We never got the opportunity to try any of the hor's douevres which we wish we had to be able to make the decision making much easier. The meal choices during the tasting were not even comparable to that of the actual wedding. The food at the wedding was much much better, many of my guests are still raving about how fantastic the food was at the wedding. \nOverall, I would highly recommend Wannamoisett to anyone that is planning their wedding, the attention to detail, food, and staff on site the day of the wedding helped make us have the most perfect day we could have ever imagined! This was the first venue we toured and from the moment we stepped inside we knew it was our venue. From the very beginning Julie made sure our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. The day of our wedding Marissa and Jordan went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. Marissa took the time to go over everything with me the night of our rehearsal and make sure she knew the vision I had for the day and did an incredible job bringing it to life for me. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The venue is perfect, the ballroom is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent and there are no words for how wonderful the staff are to work with. They take the time to get to know you throughout the planning process and answer all of your questions so quickly. I have received a lot of great feedback about our wedding day at Wannamoisett Country Club. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n",

"content": "I cannot say enough lovely things about Wannamoisett Country Club. My husband and I had our wedding there a little over a week ago and it was so perfect! Julie was such a delight to work with throughout everything and the entire staff the day of was incredible. We had looked at a few places before checking out Wannamoisett and the second we went in and met with Kim we were decided. They are so prepared and organized, and did not put any type of pressure on us. They were so friendly, helpful and accommodating during this entire wedding process, which is obviously a very stressful time. But when it came to our venue, I didn't have to worry at all -- they made the day totally stress-free for us.\n\nThe venue itself is beautiful-- and they let you go out to specific areas on the grounds to take pictures which is great because some places don't like doing that. Also, the food was absolutely delicious! We had many people come up to us after dinner to tell us how much they enjoyed their meal. The chef was also incredibly accommodating to any dietary restrictions that our guests had.\n\nIn conclusion, I highly recommend Wannamoisett Country Club as a wedding venue. It was PERFECT and the staff there just made the whole day so relaxing and enjoyable for us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!",

From our first meeting with Julie right up until the day of the wedding, I could not have asked for me. The planning staff was totally accommodating, and the waitstaff was professional and a pleasure to deal with, taking care of any little request that was made of them. Every room that we went into--and I think we went into just about every room!--was immaculate and well appointed, and the food, beverage and setup presentation was perfect. And I must also mention how perfect the immaculately- groomed grounds were for pictures!! I would not have the slightest qualm recommending Wannamoisett as an event venue!",

"content": "We had our wedding at Wannamoisett on October 8th. The staff did such a great job for our day. Everything looked beautiful and Kim and Jauna were amazing that day. Julie was always available to answer emails of whatever questions I had for her. The venue is very beautiful and so close to home all our guests had nothing but good things to say! ",

"content": "Our wedding day was AMAZING! Gianna was amazing and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. She was so helpful and sweet. While we were getting ready and taking photos, Tyler ensured we had all the drinks and appetizers we wanted. The reception area is just gorgeous! It doesn't feel like other country clubs- it has a cozy, vintage, elegant vibe. The prices are so reasonable as well. I'm so glad my friend told me to look into Wannamoisett- it has everything anyone could ever ask for. ",
